Back after some time of trying out various web browser apps - Dolphin, Chrome, Boat Browser, etc.

As Dolphin was recommended by forumers here earlier, I found that the battery consumption is quite terrible with it - almost similar to Chrome.

So far, from my experience, Boat Browser seems to be the most battery-efficient app of all. hmm.gif

Anyone have a different experience?

Yup so far boat is the best for me. Tried next , chrome , opera ,dolphin and puffin all not really good.
But the 7.0 and 7.1 boat browser with the floating tab keep running on background. I always exit on home button to keep the tab. Before this it still idle nicely without any wakelock but after the 7.0 update it is monstrous on wakelock. Revert back to the 6.0 apk till they solve it.

Waze is ok if you want free but problem is it need data to load, this is bad when you are travelling to some rural place which is bad coverage, navi will stop.
Papago is best in local POIs compared to others in malaysia , if you plan to travel to places like bukit beruntung gopeng bukit gambir bukit merah then POI is much better. Bad thing for papago is the interface very lag and not responsive. They just never care about it I think. iOS version also lag like hell.
Sygic is great as well but POI is not that great in rural area but similar if you plan to use at big cities in each states. Rural POI actually is not that bad. Just bit lesser. I prefer sygic due to better and smoother interface.

Hi Guys, would like to ask different power input aside from charging time, will spoilt the battery anot.. (eg: charge thru laptop, different charge.)..

Reason why is the charger from note3 cable too short, cant reach my bed from the plug.. i going to use my previous samsung charger which only have 0.7A output instead of 2A..

I usually charge with numerous charger like ipad iphone blackberry samsung or car chargers to charge my device. All across many phone model without any problem. All I am using quality original charger. I believe quality of the charger is more important factor. Especially car charger, use only branded one.

If greenify whatsapp and wechat wont be able to receive notification if got message or request, right?

Better dont greenify those IM if you use it alot. LINE and Wechat wont push the message after you greenify it. Worst it will make your battery drain even more because it will keep waking it up by system.

If you wanna greenify system apps or apps that require lots of push messgae, I suggest you to get the pro version. Pro version give you the access to greenify system apps and option to awake the apps when there is push message arrive

I am using the pro version. Need some real deal to tackle which to hibernate or else creating more wakelock than you intended. So far if the wakelock doesnt exceed than 10% then I am fine with it. To me the greenify system hibernate is not that stable yet.
