My phone has just done the recent MJ7 update. Means my root is gone? Is it safe to root it again?

check is there a file called .nomedia at the folder where your songs are located, or the folder before it and before it, example

if your song is at ex-sdcard/music/artist-song/song.mp3
the .nomedia file can be in any folder at the path, can be in ex-sdcard or at music or at artist-song folder
.nomedia can't be seen by MyFiles, you need ES file explorer or connect to pc to view it

connecting to usb to computer, then disconnect it will make the phone to scan for new files, new songs usually will be detected in ex sdcard around 1~3 mins, usually less than 1 min, even when you have many many many files (i store mangas in my ex sd so i have dam alot files inside)

if got .nomedia file inside the folder, the media scanner will skip the whole folder and its sub-folders from being scanned and listed
*
I did renamed another music folder to ".nomedia" in ex-sdcard before...now I removed the dot...nomedia folder is now seen in music player...but my music folder still can not seen...

Hye again...since my last post....I had a crash problem with the samsung default browser...its happen again just now...it happen when im using a multiwindows multitasking watching 1080 mv while surfing the web...its all fine when im with other browser such chrome...which is sad...because samsung stock browser is the smoothes and fastest android browser...

I dont get it whats with all the fuss third party browser such chrome, dolphin is faster than stock...to be honest I can clearly feel tat the stock browser is faster...even in sunspider bench, the stock browser outperform 3rd party browser by a big margin...manage to get below 600 score, compare to chrome 900...(lower better)

The main problem with the samsung stock browser is it can crash every now and then...sad..samsung please fix this..

I don't think stick browser will crash out of nothing. Although I have long didn't use it, previously I have been using it for a month before going back to my all time favourite boat browser. It is smooth and support text reflow. Maybe you can give it a try

Try to use Dolphin and Boat then, it's really great. Go for Dolphin if battery life is your main priority.

Noobi3, how do you find about lean 1.6? I have reverted back to 1.5 as I find 1.6 drains my battery faster than 1.5.

The bam_dmux_wakelock is higher than power manager service wake lock.

Was a bit tied up today so didnt do much checking . Overall usage is about the same as 1.5 for me .

Anyone experience this problem after updating to MJ7?

Scrolling is not function after switch off multiple windows. I need translation when reading internet then i switch on the multiwindow function by clicking the button from the drop down menu. Then click ColorDict from the side panel. Upper window now is default web broswer and bottom window is ColorDict. After translation done then close the Colordict window. Then i pull down drop down menu and click the multiwindow button to close the multiwindow function. After all my browser loss the scroll function.

Please share if you experience it also.

I personally think that Samsung don't want to do much with the stock browser and let Chrome does it job.
