QUOTE(adele123 @ Jun 6 2014, 11:18 AM) for your premise or your employees or what??? there are many takaful companies out there... you are bound to find something especially many companies are working on expanding their takaful arm. QUOTE(Colaboy @ Jun 6 2014, 02:03 PM) you are looking more to liability & also fire insurance to cover your premise i need fire,burglary/robbery and public liability takaful/insurancemost of them are refering to medical & life insurance over here . . . . . anyone has experience in commercial takaful/insurance before? |

QUOTE(JIUHWEI @ Oct 10 2015, 02:44 PM) Why not consider AIA Public Takaful? ilp or standalone medical card?R&B 200 1.375mil annual limit with no lifetime limit. Woudn't this be better? i cant find the details QUOTE(ExpZero @ Oct 10 2015, 03:58 PM) You should be able to claim the medical bill under Comprehensive Accident Benefits rider. it is the same if i upgrade my current medical card What your agent are saying is actually weekly benefit, which is standard across the industry where you will be able to claim "MC" if it's more than 7 days as pocket money compensation. Almost every companies are having Early Stage of Critical Illness, you may talk to your insurance agent to know more about it It's always advisable to remain on your existing insurance company to avoid the waiting period. However, the market are having plenty of medical cards having annual limit as high as few millions and unlimited lifetime limit too. 1. there will be a waiting period of 1month 2. prubsn got low annual limit |

QUOTE(adele123 @ Oct 11 2015, 09:50 AM) your prubsn is with ILP? ask for upgrade or something? well, like someone said... aia takaful offering something better, although should be more expensive. my prubsn is ILPi wanna upgrade my medical card, but there will be a waiting period of 1month (so i wont have protection for 1month-very risky) now i'm thinking to switch to another takaful...i have takaful ikhlas in my mind (ILP)-there is no annual limit/lifetime limit min 850k with just around rm150 montlhy aia takaful has annual limit imho annual limit is more important than lifetime limit This post has been edited by epie: Oct 11 2015, 12:37 PM |

QUOTE(adele123 @ Oct 11 2015, 08:51 PM) er... if you don't mind me saying... why so worried about the 1 month? waiting period is only applicable to diseases. accidental hospitalisation is not subjected to waiting period. not having protection for 1 month... er... unless you are 90 years old, i won't call it 'very risky'. what if I had a heart attack within that 1month period? i consider it very risky to live without protection even for 1dayusually in the case of upgrade (if i'm not mistaken), insurance company will honour your old medical... instead of your new one. check and understand the t&c i have double confirm with my agent..insurance wont honor my medical card...need to w8 for 1month in case og upgrade This post has been edited by epie: Oct 11 2015, 10:14 PM |

QUOTE(ExpZero @ Oct 11 2015, 11:28 PM) Can you take previous and next page? thanks for the info broIn order to claim for accidental medical reimbursement (If there is any), your date of accident and the date of receipt(as known as the date of you visiting the clinic) must be within 24 hours. Do let me go through your claim form before submitting to Great Eastern. I'm not sure about Prudential BSN. Under Great Eastern and Great Eastern Takaful, if you are upgrading your medical card, we are having Conditional Waiting Period of 1 month. Conditional Waiting Period which means you still can claim for any disease/illness within the waiting period but the benefit will fall back to the previous card's benefit. After 1 month, all the medical benefit will follow the new one. i also wonder...if my agent give me false info about the waiting period for upgrading it doesn't make sense actually any prubsn agent can verify this? |

QUOTE(JIUHWEI @ Oct 12 2015, 10:37 AM) As a general rule: ty for clarificationAny "upgrade" is really just purchasing a new policy. Therefore the general waiting period of 3+1 months applies, unless expressly stated otherwise by the company. I hope this clears the air and personally I would really question the agent with the 1-month waiting period. so the best thing to do is to purchase another policy...wait for 4months and cancel the old one |
