I think I like the idea of this thread being the official xboxone thread since fuadfuadz has put in the effort to create it. The trouble with merging other xboxone topics is that the earliest posts will appear first - and that just looks messy. So yeah by moderator declaration this is now THE OFFICIAL THREAD FOR XBOX 1.

I have people coming over from UK but they can't reclaim the 20% VAT so it's far too pricey. I prefer to wait until I get it at a more reasonable price.

ok I bought an xbox one and my most frequently used app is the TV app. Is there any way to get it to recognise the astro decoder?

Dammmn... after 2 and a half years my GP ultimate is expiring!

I think this is what I have to do to resub at the most cost effective rate - let the ultimate expire, stack 3 years Gold, convert to GPU.

Couple of questions because i've never let my gold lapse - What happens with the Games with Gold XB1 games - do you lose them permanently or do you get them back when you resubscribe to gold?

Also, where's cheapest for annual gold codes?

That's what my research indicates as well. In regards to the USD1 trick, i think you can only use it once - but converting 3 years gold at the standard one month rate would be the goal.
