bought my stepdown transformer 500 watt at local (penang) hardware shop for RM 164.00. brand EKK, made in malaysia, no noise at all, warm little bit but not as hot as the xbox one power supply. dimension 18 cm x 15 cm x 8 cm. ![]() DSC_0253 , on Flickr |

QUOTE(wunan @ Jan 14 2014, 07:49 PM) 2000 watt? thats overkill...its way more than enough. your receiver (tv or amplifier) support DTS or Dolby? also, Dolby 5.1 and Dolby Ex (7.1) is different, same case for DTS.any of you using optical out for audio?...some how using optical out, i can only get audio when set it to 'stereo uncompressed'...if set to dts or dolby, got no sound... QUOTE(single35 @ Jan 14 2014, 09:54 PM) Are Ace Hardware can buy online ? Because at Johor, there are no Ace Hardware store. Mind helping me ? can just use your 2000w stepdown transformer, thats the max power rated, not your actual usage. if you still want to buy, just look for electronic shop. Danga Bay mall shop might have it |

my receiver does support dolby 5.1 and dts as tested with ps3 blu-ray movie and games that have dolby( metal gear solid 4). i do know that xbox one does not support surround via optical at launch(surround via hdmi only) but i thought its already patched?
