Hey guys, have a question, hope someone can help me out. I bought the xbox one Asia version two weeks ago, since the 14 days trial live gold expired, i wanted to buy the xbox live gold membership via credit card/paypal. Its possible with Malaysia credit card/paypal? Getting confused with the region thing.

Paypal works that I can remember but you don't really want to get Xbox Live Gold via the direct monthly recurring payment method as you can get cheaper 12-months Live codes. There's several sellers on LYN, otherwise you can also google for the site with the best rate. You can also buy the currencies for your account if you plan to buy digital games and your paypal/cc wont go throughIf you're lazy to shop around, I got mine recently from: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3435152/all |

QUOTE(zad78 @ Jan 25 2015, 03:56 PM) If you're machine is set to U.S. region, your purchase through U.S. Xbox Store, as such your billing address will need to be a U.S. address. If you choose to set to Singapore, then purchase will route through Singapore Xbox Store, billing address will need to be a Singapore address. Different region have different payment options available. I believe U.S. accepts PayPal but Singapore does not. All your purchase are region-less, so it could be used on any machine. |

Hey guys I have a question for you.. previously I used to live in Saudi Arabia and I owned an xbox 360, I always play online and the connection was pretty good, no lag at all unless I played in US servers or other far servers. I want to know how the online experience is on the Xbox One in Malaysia. The majority of gamers in Malaysia own a PS4, so I want to know if you have any lag when you play online. I have 5 mbps unifi connection but I might upgrade to 10 mbps later.

I think I found a pretty good deal I would not recommend buying from there, as the seller is from Sungei Wang plaza is not very trust worthy. I have given you few trusted reseller in this forum (Previous post), you should just buy from them to save the trouble in future, price wise I don't think its too far off.http://www.lelong.com.my/xbox-one-fifa-15-...5-02-Sale-P.htm What do you think bout the price? had a meeting with MS sales team this morning. they were promoting their Lumia products to a lot of GLCs nowadays. One of them treated me for lunch, and I asked him on why on earth MS still have not supported Malaysia officially, particularly XBox. told him that xbox has a very big user base here and the ROI for the support will be good. He said that MS' HQ still look at Malaysia as a piracy hub, therefore making that impossible. as a sales person, he sees a lot of chances of xbox here, but they still have to adhere to HQ's say. sighs. Mat salleh, they never learn.

Perhaps somehow he can use it as something to convince those at the Corp. |

Mat salleh, they never learn. I've been told bout the exact same thing since 8, 9 years ago. Maybe back in the days where HDDVD can be easily cloned, and Malaysia do have a notorious reputation in piracy, it is a genuine concern for Microsoft not to enter the market... but then again, if you think again, piracy is just an easy excuse not to enter Malaysia. Because MS do enter India, China & Russia market, where the piracy rate is no better than Malaysia. So the piracy reasoning doesn't rally hold much sway these days.QUOTE(FarCry3r @ Feb 16 2015, 05:07 PM) If the sales person need to see how big the community really is, just point him to the facebook group. I understand the enthusiasm of the community, but we, as a small third world country, will never move enough volume for it to be worthwhile to build up supply chain & logistics in Malaysia. If one day we were able to match lets say 75% of what Singapore is moving, then maybe we have a chance. |
