I just 'upgraded' to a half-decent glass protector, after YEARS of only using matte SPs.
I'm not even using SGP level stuff and the difference is like night and day, everything is sharp like a razor, as expected. Surprisingly though, it's not really THAT glossy/reflective.
Main reason I made the jump? Just couldn't stand scratching my matte SPs any more, plus using the S-Pen feels weird on matte stuff - it even feels like it's going to scratch the SP at one point.
GSP brand is Dream Power and fitting is great for 50 bucks. It doesn't come with the button sticker thing though, but I like sunken buttons anyway so it's a non-issue. Just hope the adhesive and the oleo coating will stand the test of time.
Oh and unfortunately it's not 'explosion' or 'bullet' -proof (lol).
As a plus it fits perfect with my Neo Chybrid (clone hybrid lol). I was kinda over-estimating just how thick 0.3mm is, especially with all this current hoohaa over 0.15mm glass protector. Turns out 0.3 is still damn bloody thin lol - sensitivity with touch isn't affected one bit, and the S-Pen actually tracks better now. Also for sure it'll be a whole lot tougher than a 0.15 strip of tempered glass, that's just common sense.
@mydragoon: Samsung China repairs SDS phones for free even if it's out of warranty. SME should have done the same, but then again, this is Bolehland lol.
Where did you get it? I would like to get 1 too.
