Just my sharing on DN3 V3.1. I have no FC or any problem with it, but after updating to V3.1.1, I started to have issue with the email app and the video app. Therefore, currently back to V3.1, smooth and the battery life is good compared to 4.1.2 stock ROM and kernel.

So now sticking to V3.1 until there is a V4 or higher with more features.

BG is pretty easy. Install GemRB, copy data files to the correct directories (actually the hardest step lol), enjoice. Had fun with it on the S3 but it pretty much NEEDS the S-Pen for proper enjoyment so I gave up.

I still have the BG complete collection somewhere on my HDDs, if I can find it I'll try it out again.

Actually PRAYING hard that somebody would port Fallout 1-Tactics. That would be a TOTAL time waster.

BTW, Doom 3 on the N3 should be silky smooth on high everything (or something) considering the extra 1GB RAM and Snap800.

Could you help to point me to a site that provide the guide to do the BG2 port to Note 2?

No more FC on the DN3 V3.1.1. Solved the email FC and the video player FC.

between 2 of my favourite rom ( phoenix & ARHD ). i still prefer ARHD,..
so fast, so smooth, so great battery life, and yet no need much config too,..
only pity thing is wanam exposed is not support,. i only manage to install Xposed installer,..
personally i dont need note 3 features much, and i disable it most of the time to save battery,.

i dont think 4.3 will able to replaces 4.1.2 totally in coming days unless samsung release the kernel source

After seeing your comment, made we wanting to try out the ARHD. Currently on DN3.1.1. Is it possible to flash from DN 3 to ARHD? Will there be any potential to lose the EFS or IMEI?
Current baseband = MJ9.
Boot loader = not sure, I think I did not upgrade to MJ5.

I'm planning to do a full wipe and flash ARHD.

I just 'upgraded' to a half-decent glass protector, after YEARS of only using matte SPs.

I'm not even using SGP level stuff and the difference is like night and day, everything is sharp like a razor, as expected. Surprisingly though, it's not really THAT glossy/reflective.

Main reason I made the jump? Just couldn't stand scratching my matte SPs any more, plus using the S-Pen feels weird on matte stuff - it even feels like it's going to scratch the SP at one point.

GSP brand is Dream Power and fitting is great for 50 bucks. It doesn't come with the button sticker thing though, but I like sunken buttons anyway so it's a non-issue. Just hope the adhesive and the oleo coating will stand the test of time.

Oh and unfortunately it's not 'explosion' or 'bullet' -proof (lol).

As a plus it fits perfect with my Neo Chybrid (clone hybrid lol). I was kinda over-estimating just how thick 0.3mm is, especially with all this current hoohaa over 0.15mm glass protector. Turns out 0.3 is still damn bloody thin lol - sensitivity with touch isn't affected one bit, and the S-Pen actually tracks better now. Also for sure it'll be a whole lot tougher than a 0.15 strip of tempered glass, that's just common sense.

@mydragoon: Samsung China repairs SDS phones for free even if it's out of warranty. SME should have done the same, but then again, this is Bolehland lol.

Where did you get it? I would like to get 1 too.

I got 2 actually. For the price it's really not bad, it fits very well and doesn't lift all that much at the edges (a big problem with the N2's slightly curved screen). You don't get the home button stickers you get with some of the other brands, and I really doubt that you can reuse it more than a couple of times though.

But it's almost as cheap as a decent SP so WTH right?

I'm definitely going to get this. As RM50, WTH right..... totally agree with it.
Gonna order mine now.

Hi Guys, I'm encountering my samsung galaxy note 2 display goes on and off when it is left idle. The screen will turn on by itself even there is no notification and no call coming in. Then it will turn the screen off. This randomly appear and the phone feels hot.

Anyone encountered this?
