if prefer iphone style simple and direct = MIUI official V5  ( 3.11.22 )

if prefer note 2 but pack with Note 3 features = DN3 V3.1 rom

if prefer tons of tweak + customization = phoenix rom / wanam lite / dr.ketan  and etc etc so on,.

but if u prefer simple and happy with 4.1.2, =  Adndroid revolution rom ( base on 4.1.2  which currently i am using,.. it is the smoothest ever rom,.. even more smooth than MIUI,.. ) ..

always back up your previous rom in full backup

then always wipe with Android_Revolution_HD_Super_Wipe_Note_2 before you start to flash another rom, confirm nothing will go wrong,..  thumbup.gif

MIUI is based on which android version? 4.3?
this is not TW based rom right? So how is the performance on battery life? hmm.gif

Need to use Philz for less bug or bug free installation. Many flash with TWRP had issues. Can install
Dr Ketan's Multi Tools for multi recovery options.  smile.gif

No issue actually. Just have to manually flash the OTA zip file. Everything is working fine. S-health doesnt work. Do our note 2 have pedometer?  hmm.gif

Ok cool, if TWRP is working fine, then I dont need to flash multi tool..
One question, when u mentioned flash manual OTA zip file, is it the same file in step 2
(2-After first boot download & flash this file)?

even u using philz also need to manual flash this file correct, or is it u mentioning diff file?

2 different things. Flash the OTA zip file>Reboot>Get the OTA updates(a zip file will be saved to internal sd)>Flash the zip file in recovery.

I did this a few hours ago.

I see, then if using Philz, the downloaded file update can be flash without going to recovery? hmm.gif
