My dad managed to crack his phone by accidentally dropping it off the stairs. 1.2 meters i think. And its pretty major. My Nokia Lumia 720 dropped facing flat on the road still works. LOL

QUOTE(((Xa))0102 @ Mar 29 2014, 10:10 PM) Not easy. Because there are lots of people selling it too. Mind selling me your Note 3 or Note 2 LTE at a lower price than the market used price? My dad cracked his phone lol.I've tried selling tonnes of phones, but in the end give up because people either low ball or just don't want. Its hard to sell used phones in SG forums when everyone can afford new ones. Now I have at least 30 phones in my storage. |

QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Mar 30 2014, 12:15 AM) Glass Replacement is only around 250-300 depending on seller . Dont get conned . Unless u go back to SME , there's no glass replacement , they change the whole screen for u , that's y u r paying 500+ I totally know this lol. TQ for replying anywaysJust enquired a LYF about his service. On the surface(his advertising like before and after pictures + it's liquid bonding technique) is really promising, for S3 he charges 250, Note 2? Idk. Not going to get it repaired at SME. |

QUOTE(((Xa))0102 @ Mar 30 2014, 02:06 AM) No, sorry. I haven't been selling my phones because I rather keep than giving others a bargain. No, never a lite version of a high end phone. If he's about to get a new phone, I would either tell him to get HTC One M8 or Nexus 5.Buy a new Note 2 or Note 3 Neo lah, in fact I'm selling my Note 2 LTE at that price range anyways. |

QUOTE(Michael_Lee @ Apr 2 2014, 12:03 AM) http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-N7100I suggest you flashing any of these. It should include everything including Knox bootloader(does it even matter as Knox is triggered), stock recovery and android. I assume it goes into download mode, use odin 1.85(recommended)or 3.09 instead of odin 3.9(does it even exist?!that's what you said) to flash it. Afterwards, immediately root it using CF Auto root and install TWERK(Team Win Recovery Project). Install CM11(my favorite AOSP variant)or any other AOSP variant. Enjoy unbricked phone. |

This is out of the topic but do you guys think S5 is stupiak?
We can literally buy an older phone like Note 2 and S3 to flash it with S5/DN3 rom. We still can get a pretty good performance out of the phone after we slightly overclock it. Good performance ROM for S3: MIUI v5, S4Revolution N2: AOSP variant, DN3 RC2 |

QUOTE(joytest @ Apr 14 2014, 12:45 AM) Well, for one, the newer phones all have full HD displays. This is worth the price of the upgrade IMHO, but since it started with the S4, getting an S4 or S4 Active might make sense. S4 is also much cheaper now from places like DirectD or SatuGadget. I don't really mind using phones with 250ppi and above. Full HD(in phones only) is still too early for me, I prefer 720P even if someone is going to pay for my phone. Take the rest and buy a tablet!Comparing the screens of N2 and N3, N3 really wins hands down, but otherwise N2 is still a fully serviceable device. It can handle remote desktop to my corporate support applications and works nicely as a hotspot. Best of all, HandyNote sync to both my devices let me scribble lots of useful notes without being tied down to S-Note. Anyway, whatever features that are software based will end up getting ported, so yes, in some ways, newer phones are rather gimmicky. |
