Hi, i tried to flash phoenix rom v15.7 but it seems like fc on many things, anyway to solve it?

make sure u dont use the lates philz, just use philz 5.15,. ( assuming if u are using philz recovery )

well, easier part is always do a Full nandroid backup after you finish flashing new rom/modify something,..

I tot people would just find philz 5.15? I simply find for philz recovery then i just found 5.15 version. and flash it of course.

phliz now have newer version 6.02 and 6.08, i tried both before and encounter rom aroma installer stuck half way,..

Why philz recovery so fakap in newer version?

at first i also feel strange and i though may be is the rom i flashing got issue, so i keep on changing rom from dr.ketan, to phoenix, to hoschi miui even flash ProBam,.. those 2 latest philz seriously got issue in all of those rom,. aroma installer stuck or 100% finish flashing hang,.

and also it mess up my nandroid backup md5 sum too,. end up with my md5 mismatch in my nandroid backup

i live with twrp... never gave me any problem...

my sister's S3 was flashed with TWRP at first when I rooted her phone on stock 4.1.2. Loved TWRP! After that flash her phone to S4 revolution then I had to reroot it and cwm came with it. Now I don't dare to flash TWRP scared it will un root it lol.

OIC..Getting more and more unreliable nowadays lol.

I'm thinking the latest build of Philz had issues with any form of aroma, as my previous problems with launching AromaFM with it shows.

That said, the only thing it has over TWRP for me is the haptics so going back to TWRP was not a hard choice to make.

The very same place you downloaded your omni ROM, xda forum. As long as its modified stock with Samsung features in it, it will have S Note app.

Not sure if there any complication downgrading from 4.4 to 4.1.2. Should be fine if downgrade to 4.3 modified stock ROM. Right chuahcs79?

for starter i'm advise you to download ARHD v19. its like the stock 4.1.2 firmware but with tweak. one of the best firmware and still using the old note 2 snote. you need it to get back all your note backup on samsung account. the one on 4.3 mod firmware are mostly using the new N3 snote and N3 snote cannot recover the old N2 snote.

Hi, what custom rom are you all using now?

me use phoenix 15.7 rom with devil kernel 2.0.4. now really stable. previously got random reboot - flash MJ5 bl fix problem. no fc watsoever.

i'm trying out Cover (beta) apps... it's a 'smart lock screen' apps.

just installed today and it's supposed to learn my habits over the next few days. let's see how it goes. but so far, kinda like it.

looks like it may replace SwipePad.

it's supposed to be only available for US/ UK but i've always had problems with my Google Play settings so, I get US contents.

and just wondering... anyone uses any password manager apps? i've been considering this -- to use or not to use. and there are quite a few out there... some of which is FOC. nice... but good idea to use it?

No problems with any of the sensors? There's a big warning about some sensors not working on Devil due to the back porting of S3 drivers, so I was keeping clear. If there's no major problems I might go try.
