it got better memory handling... normal usage around 850-950mb... i got several widget running around... battery cant review yet but its stable... 8 hours sleeping only lost 3%... havent met with any FC yet... i can say that it might work fine like the last stable 4.1.2

edit: look like the intermittent problem when playing music with bluetooth device solved in the mk9.

yup... already read that... its nice info for anyone who wanna try to port for himself...

that omni rom is aosp... so it wont contain any samsung touchwiz features... if you did not backup it inside samsung account or the data folder on your internal sd... then... you lost it.

If you are on fully stock firmware... then by all means... send it to the service centre.

which stock 4.1.2 are you using now?

you might... try the older one...

i live with twrp... never gave me any problem...

for starter i'm advise you to download ARHD v19. its like the stock 4.1.2 firmware but with tweak. one of the best firmware and still using the old note 2 snote. you need it to get back all your note backup on samsung account. the one on 4.3 mod firmware are mostly using the new N3 snote and N3 snote cannot recover the old N2 snote.

that is kind of super wipe... what they mean by super wipe is... it wipe everything... including your internal SD data... so save your internal sd data to somewhere before doing super wipe... unless you dont have anything important on it.

nope DN3 dont have the pop-up browser... most of the 4.3 with the N3 mod function dont have it.

just use it... seriously... i havent touch cwm since i went with TWRP... dont have any problem at all...

i had both AP and original unit... both using TWRP since well... since TWRP was released for N2.

anyway... just make sure your win7 can detect your phone after you install the mobile driver. it should be showing in your windows explorer.

and although you had installed the driver... it need to configuring the driver for the device... so it takes time... it will installing the driver properly when you plug in your device... with or without usb debugging in on or not.

You can downgrade from 4.3 IF ONLY you did not upgrade the bootloader... if you did accept the OTA to 4.3 sadly to say that you cannot downgrade you device (YET or 4EVER) as it upgrade your bootloader with knox enable.

anyway to newbie... please backup EFS so you can restore it if anything like loosing emei happen.

and YES you can install DN3 since it was a custom firmware... it did not contain bootloader... just flash the WIFI FIX from Dr. Ketan or the MJ5 bootloader (MJ5 come with knox but no need to worry you can downgrade this one)

on stock??? havent recall samsung add on opera on stock...

to whoever still using stock 4.3 there are Snote update on samsung apps. The new snote.

you can just try to clear cache or worst thing factory reset and see if your device can work.

change motherboard nowadays kind of not worth it.. around RM 600 to 700... better go and get a 2nd hand N2 or just get a new phone.

N2 section on XDA now are fill with bunch of idiots. read carefully before you take their advice. most of it are nonsense.

anyway... since there are knox interfere with the supersu installation. you cant root it that way anymore...

what you need are custom recovery which you can flash it via odin. CWM or twrp. it dont matter which one you choose but a lot of ppl will suggest cwm over twrp. I use twrp and never got any problem. if you choose cwm. use the old one. cwm v 5.xx. the new one still got some error last time i check it. dont know if they fix it anymore since i'm using stock N3 now.

then in cwm/twrp FULL FORMAT your device. and then you are safe to install DN3. that's all you need.
