Just want to add.
MJ5 Bootloader if you using the kitkat 4.4.2 ROM You cannot charge the phone while the phone is turn off. If your battery out of juice, you need a external battery charger.
With the new bootloader you can charge your battery while the phone turn off.

QUOTE(ohmlawx @ May 4 2014, 04:25 PM) i OFF my phone, and it automatically on my phone when i charged it.. By "automatically on", do you mean it boot up your phone? I read most of N2 user in XDA having this problem with MJ5 (boot up the phone when charge it or didnt do anything). You still can't charge while then phone in off mode with 4.4.2 kitkat. I Just notice mine is still using MF2 bootloader (I thought I flashed MJ5 long ago when installing Dr. Ketan ROM). Mine didn't do anything when I plug in the charger while in off mode. I'm now using DN3 4 RC2 ROM (4.4.2 KitKat) S5 1.4 mod + PurePerformances™X Golden Edition. Waiting for This post has been edited by Arzwart: May 4 2014, 05:02 PM

Unable to charge while in off mode is not a issue for me. Unless it is a 2nd phone that you rarely use and forgot to charge it and loss all the battery juice. I wonder with MJ5 bootloader you still can plug in the charger and it will boot up even the battery juice all gone.
My N2 warranty with Samsung will end this 30 May. I'm still considering to upgrade my bootloader with Knox. Because still got 3 years warranty under Senheng.

QUOTE(lamjunrong @ May 8 2014, 12:37 PM) have somebug on the DN3 V4, cannot change ringtone and 'andriod.process.media has stopped' always shows when select ringtone, and cannot turn off shutter sound...dunno what wrong maybe is my kernel or etc... hope these small bug fix in V5, Thanks! I use "Wanam Xposed", one of Modules in Xposed Installer to turn off shutter sound. I got no problem in changing the ringtone. Do you flashed the AIO fix? Edit: DN3 V5 is available to download. the link is at Opening Page/Original Poster of Dn3 XDA forum site. This post has been edited by Arzwart: May 8 2014, 01:22 PM

QUOTE(lamjunrong @ May 8 2014, 02:43 PM) oh, thank for v5! i try out the xposed and do v5 need AIO fix? v5 is new. So, there is no AIO fix until somebody find bugs and the developer will compile an AIO fix flash zip to fix the problems. This post has been edited by Arzwart: May 8 2014, 04:25 PM

QUOTE(lamjunrong @ May 8 2014, 09:13 PM) yup, same here on DN3 V5, the setting for backlight key is missing, is not a big deal la, but i gguess if can turn that off might save a bit of battery? Arzwart ok thanks for the notes, but i still cant silent the shutter sound and boot up sound in wanam xposed i install the xposed installer from XDA and then install Wanam, apply setting for in Wanam reboot but i still can turn off the sound and etc.. mind share how you do it? newbie here, Thanks! Go to camera setting and disable shutter. In xpose installer do you tick/activate the wanam xpose in modules tab?

QUOTE(lamjunrong @ May 8 2014, 10:18 PM) hmm, it seems like the option to turn off the shutter sound in camera app is missing too... i have enable and tick the wanam exposed in module tab, i able to modify the notification setting , such as adding date and month to the notification bar, i have tick the option to disable boot sound and shutter sound, then reboot, but it stay the same...is not a big deal, but might be a problem when taking picture of lectures notes on whiteboard....guess i opt for another camera app then... however, DN3 is just another awesome rom with N2+N3+S5 AIO experience! I just install v5 this morning. And I can disable the shutter sound in camera using the wanam xpose. My shutter option in camera setting is gone too. I'm using SuperSu Pro and Busybox. Philz recovery 6.26.6

QUOTE(lamjunrong @ May 9 2014, 10:06 AM) hmm, can i just flash the normal SuperSu instead of the pro one? and what shall i do with busybox, or what can i do with it? thanks! No big difference between Pro or Normal. In Pro you can disable the annoying toast notification from SuperSu. Busybox Read This. So I don't know if wanam need this to make the disable shutter sound to work. For me, I installed it for something long ago, and I still installed on my rooted phone. Maybe there is someone better than me to explain this.

I just noticed in my Titanium Backup; My System ROM only left 169 MB free. Maybe I did something wrong in flashing? I did a clean wipe and format the internal HD. I'm using Philz Recovery 6.26.6. I remembered after flashing DN3 v4 RC2 I got extra 500MB++ before I flash the S5 Mods. How many System ROM do you got left after flash DN4 v5?

QUOTE(Anonymous34 @ May 12 2014, 10:40 PM) I'm installing DN3 v5 but it seems like I'm having a little bit of trouble. USB port trouble. Can't be detected by Odin to flash MJ5 bootloader. It is only recommended though so I went on with flashing the ROM with TWRP v2.7.0.2. will it work? I have 4.3 bootloader Use Latest Philz Recovery 6.25 or above. It's the best choice for this rom. Btw Mr.Luong v3.6 N7100 4.4.2 KitKat with Dark Themes (can choose in aroma) Rom is quite smooth. I'm using this now until DN3 v5 is stable.

QUOTE(Anonymous34 @ May 13 2014, 09:05 AM) Thank you for replying. Btw, I didn't flash any ROM that doesn't have stock TouchWiz look. Cause this is my dad's phone and he doesn't know how to use custom ui. I will inherit all the current phones that my family members use this year end. They are upgrading Dad: N7100--->iPong 6 5.5inch Mom: Nokia C2--->Galashit Ash 5 (Named this way because of Knox) Big Sis: iPong 4--->iPong 6 4.7inch Second Sis: i9300--->HTC One M8 All my family members getting low end phones only, sorry yah! By the time I have i9300 and N7100 to play custom rom like nobody's business! Well maybe you will get iphone 6 instead after your dad use it for couple of weeks and want his note 2 back.
