Actually you are right, I felt the new icon a bit unsettling when I got my Note3, but got used to it after awhile.

Master, the latest OS 4.3 need Kies 3 to do backup and restore right? I'm just downloaded Kies 3, but can't backup. It just keep on loading.... May I know why? Anybody can help?
Cause some master advice factory reset after instal OS 4.3 cause my Note 2 lag and battery drain fast.

i got a problem after update to 4.3

when i enter lock screen and try to unlock.. it wont unlock (canot register touch input)

i have take out my s-pen to manually unlock it...

(canot detect touch, but can detect s-pen). After using s-pen for like a few second, then only the phone will detect touch input. Weird. How to proceed?

found a similar case online saying it the digitizer fault, but i previously on 4.2 no such issues

Have some problem here, initially was having wifi unable to start problem after updated from 4.12 to 4.3 through mobile odin. i was on rooted stock rom. patch with dr.ketan wifi patch. wifi working again but seems to be disconnected after some time especially those public wifi that required web based login. any suggestion to solve this? thanks

Don't know if it is similar issue but a while after i patched with dr ketan's patrch i started getting wifi is unstable notification. I restarted and then seems ok so far.

musicplayer widget on lockscreen damn nice..

today i left my ipod at home .. so need to use phone to listen to music... woot i found something differ here..

can shuff/rdm and got short playlist on lockscreen ..

If you have no critical app data, then use Google to backup your contacts, Super Backup for your SMS, or SMS Backup+ for SMS and Whatsapp.

Otherwise use Helium Backup.

Kies is not a good program.


So does that mean the ipod doesn't give you the same convenient functions? And I'm sure you can't share anything from your ipod directly.

1. Running Stock ROM or Custom ROM ?
2. If Stock ROM, did you root ?
3. Did you do factory reset/clear cache BEFORE upgrading ?
4. For those who answer NO for no 3, did you do factory reset/clear cache AFTER upgrading ?

In a way, iPod is a music player, to replace those walkman & discman, so as long as it plays music awesomely then convenience is just a preference issue for me

App = Software.

App = Application = Program = Software.

Android = Software (specifically, an Operating System).

iOS = Software

That said, the convenience of Play Store/App Store is spoiling people. I remember the days when buying programs online usually involved hunting for websites and then paying money (through direct credit card transactions summore) to get a bloody string of text to activate your "trial version" of whatever.

Though, to be honest, most independently developed PC apps are still bought that way lol, though nowadays with the added ease of PayPal.

Nowdays, click and enjoice, at least until your credit card statements come around lol.

Guys anyone experience lag? How to clear the ram to reach 600 or less. Now clear ram 8
it's about 800. After some usage it's at least 1.4gb

u can manually disable system/user app that u dont use in application manager

mine is about 600+ when system app, and 700+ with all my user app running
