Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a 3G and wifi surveillance camera. Wifi support isn't mandatory but should support 3G. Do you have any suggestions for me and where I can find them?

Define support 3G.

Usually "internet capable" surveillance camera are connected to broadband, and then can be accessed by anywhere as long u have internet, even from mobile devise.

And i dont think there are standalone camera that has built-in 3G..
Though im not sure why must 3G since u can get one camera with wireless capability that you can put it anywhere without wires.

The easiest way is to get a WIFI capable surveillance camera and pair it with a 3G/4G Mobile WIFI modem, i.e. https://new.maxis.com.my/content/maxis/en/p...CFWlT4godYFQAqg

I have installed a home surveillance camera in my home. All that it requires is a high speed internet connection and yeah, may be wifi. They have a fantastic monitoring system which keeps a good track of everything. I have wifi support in my home. But I am not sure about its working on 3G. If you want more details, just log on to their site: Alarmforce videorelay at Mississauga, Ontario.

I have installed CCTV in my house with internet viewing ... very good as I do travel alot so I installed 8 cameras covering from front to back and inside the main house area smile.gif

It runs on POE, so no need traditional copper cable and power cable. smile.gif

The speed is determined by your house internet speed only.
it has different resolution range from :
1600 X 1200
1280 X 1024
1280 X 960
1280 X 720
800 X 600

CCTV is yesterday technology, There are dirt cheap wireless surveillance cameras in HD resolution in market, no need to record all the time like bank. The camera has motion detector, it will alert you to watch it live via your phone/ipad/office computer and you can have option to record it while calling a police.

Put few of these around the house and save you a lot.

See you can even shout at the thief or your maid through the speaker when you are at the office.

I'm using a bunch of Foscam with external speakers. Once it detect a movement, I will tend playback some haunting sounds from various horror movies at random. With 8 cams, it can be scary...

I'm thinking of putting Yama in my office since the last 2 break-ins are from the 'I' people.
