no news about them, i've gotten miix2 32GB from bulk purchaser from US

not yet arrived tho

Bro, u need to get yr facts right. These new Miix2 are Baytrial, the same with Dell Venue 8 pro, Iconia W4 and Toshiba Encore.

Time to retire my 10.1in Win 8 MSI Windpad 110W & move to 8in Miix2...

I can use the mobile battery charger to increase tablet life while on my expedition trips..

I read a lot of review from bay trail tablet user.
They claimed the quality build Dell Venue 8 Pro > Asus T100 > Miix2
Miix2 the lightest but battery life also shortest

They also say Samsung shit build quality..but no 1 selling..ha..ha..

there is not much review on most 8" tablet yet, most of them quite new in the market

Not much on 8", but the Bay Trail processor has been around thanks to the Asus T100, and that certainly works quite well.

Hmm... this is weird... while China's Miix 8 shows it's a Baytrail the Singapore Miix 10 show's it's a Clovertrail.

Lenovo Miix 10 which is 10in tablet are clovertrail. Its the previous generation tablet.

Since the announcement of the 4 Heavenly Kings (8in Baytrial, full Win8.1 tablets) in Oct 2013, the industry is in for a big change. Never has a Windows tablet with preinstalled MS Office, lasts up to 10hrs & priced below USD300. With these sort of pricing, the flexibility & utility with full Windows tablet far outweight the offerings from android or ipad. Dont forget u could technically install ubuntu, dual booth android + Win or Lion OS onto it since its essentially a pc. Of course there will be the usual driver quarks that come from modifications. But in time it will be available.

Dell, Lenovo, Acer... which is #4? If we're talking about 8" tablets lar, I don't think Asus has 8" right?

there is toshiba too priced at 330USD
