Desktop + calibrated IPS monitor is way faster if you don't need the mobility. I have a rMBP 15" late 2013 model... it feels slow compared to my desktop which I bought last year. (And the desktop was way cheaper tongue.gif)

i opt for mobility biggrin.gif
dont think that laptop with IPS monitor widely available.

Well in that case, go for rMBP. I was surveying around for an IPS notebook too, ended up with late 2013 15" rMBP. Got to admit the experience using Mac is  rclxm9.gif . All the softwares designed by Apple works fluidly, smooth! But not for third party software like Office or even Lightroom, it is slow... or at least slower than my 2012 desktop.

as for desktop,
am using i5 + 16gb ram.

Guys, very tempting with prime lens right now.

Nikon AF 50mm/1.8D vs Nikon AF-S 50mm/1.8G.

RM4XX vs RM7XX

Motor vs no motor.

For my D3200.

Thanks alot for ur input, guys. notworthy.gif

Ya, i saw AF-S 35mm/1.8G too.

May i know what's the main different between 35mm vs 50mm besides focal length?

Here i list down for what i know:
1. 35mm just need to stay closer to the object (compare 50mm).
2. DOF for 35mm if greater than 50mm, best for landscape.
3. Bokeh 50mm is better than 35mm, best for portrait.
4. ???

Anymore?? Kindly correct me if i'm wrong.
But anyway, if i'm not mistaken, 35mm is DX lens, 50mm i think is full frame, means 35mm effective FL is actually almost same as 50mm also?

Price wise, 35mm vs 50mm is almost same, am i right? I stay at JB, still sourcing the best price for lens. Any recommendation?

Thanks in advance.

Thank guys, i almost forgot the crop factor is come with body, not the lens. tongue.gif

f5calvin 85mm too expensive for me.

asrul mind to share why u ask me opt for 35mm rather than 50mm?

try to use your kitlens with 35mm focal length. go out for one day. and the next day go for 50mm..try for it..

then u will know which one is convenient

my current setup is D7000 + 17-50VC Tamron + 35MM + 50MM.
thinking of changing my tamron to 18-55 kitlens, and going for 24mm and 85mm.

Does the speed of sdhc matter when choosing the new card for video?
Or the class is enough?
