so basically, LR is to adjust those image exposure, white balance, colours saturation and etc etc.

I just follow one tutorial and he uses photoshop to "liquify" the portrait. make the spot and extra eye line missing. something like that. haha.. I think for a nub like me i dont need it yet.

I normally use LR, PS only when I need "ctrl+shift+x" and multiple layers

Anyways, I usually use LR for everything.. I only use Photoshop when it involves intense spot healing and watermarking

use tripod, lower your ISO and set the F number higher (smaller aperture)

Lightroom can do watermark. I feel that Lightroom alone is sufficient enough except if you wan to have some advanced editing of the person/subject of the photo itself.

shoot during golden hours, around 9am - 10am (already quite harsh sunlight ), some closeup shoots i used diffuser from the reflector

edit with LR only

photoshop only needed when you do a job like this
