QUOTE(coolkwc @ Dec 26 2013, 05:02 PM) Wait guys...The 35mm f/1.8G lens don have manual aperture ring, means it is impossible to reverse lens if i want to play macro? Can consider 35 f2d too, compatible on FF as wellBtw, any flash bracket can recommend me? For macro use, I'm using a single YongNuo YN-560ii This post has been edited by QiAnG: Dec 26 2013, 06:42 PM |

QUOTE(gunzerdude @ Jan 8 2014, 10:49 AM) Then I guess I'm glad mine is a D700 instead of a D800 then I read about the softness too, but then I checked DXOmark, and strangely enough, 20mm scored higher on D610 than on D700, somehow the higher resolution makes the lens sharper or something =.='' I was expecting the lens to be soft, but after some testing, the lens seems to be the sharpest of the three in the center. Might not be the same case in the corners, but there's still pleny of detail to keep me happy, more importantly the size & weight of these retro lenses compared to their modern counterparts. Not sure how DXOmark calculates stuff, makes this old lens pretty promising though |

QUOTE(XBONE4LIFE @ Jan 11 2014, 08:05 PM) hi sifus, me no sifu, but 10k is quite a big budget eh for someone new.i am very new to photography and i am about to purchase my 1st dslr. with a budget of 10k what are the best options for me now? what body and what lens/accessories to buy first? sry if my question is noob.. i'd suggest getting some mid-range slrs with not bad good controls like d7100 or 70d with a kit lens, or if you wanna save a bit, 2nd hand d7000 or 60d not bad too, then further increase your lens collection when you feel that the kit lens is limiting you better than throwing going all in, and find out latr that photography is not for you, then would be a waste happy shopping |
