Hey guys, I will be turning 18 only by 6th Oct 2008, whereas some uni terms start at september or early october right? So do I need to appoint a guardian, have my parents sign some forms etc etc? Really confused because so far only Uni of Bath sent me the letter for guardianship and stuff...

P/S: Should I have received a letter by normal mail for an offer made in March 20-something by now? Imperial College gave me conditional offer but haven't heard a peep from them since...Didn't reply my enquiries also...

hello there! imperial college first year student here smile.gif
what course are u applying to?
im pretty sure u wont need a guardian as i have pts friends who is still 17 when they came over, but u wont get to apply for double rooms for your accomodation, thats the only thing, and depending on ur hall, hall seniors will be asked to take extra care of u

is imperial ur fimed choice in ucas?
PM me if u need any help, exams is next week!!!11111111

im heading to imperial college to to civil engineering (MEng) and have secured a full gamuda scholarship.

before going, what are the things i need to do? for example, apply for a passport, student visa, buy winter clothing, buy medical insurance, get a bank account, etc.
