yup, it's really cheap . from kl to birmingham just cost about rm2200 but for mas only to london it will cost u about rm2500. so really a big different. where is your "Final Destination" (ha just kidding)  in UK? u buy their air ticket already?

Rough value on cost of living in Bristol:

1. Accommodation: Normally around £300-400 per month, depends on location. Mostly in the city centre will cost more. There are cheaper rent <£300, but a bit further from the centre/main uni buildings.

2. Food: Learn how to cook, so you won't depend on fast foods or need to eat at the restaurant everyday. Also depends on how much you normally eat. Usually £50 to £60 is more than enough.

3. Utilities (electric, water, gas, etc): Depends on usage, normally a bit expensive during cold months My experience, less than £20 per month for electric and gas alone. It is wiser to get a house with these all covered in the rent.

4. Mobile phones: £25 per month should do.

So in general, I'd say you'll need around £500-£600 per month, all covered.
