Emirates stops at Gatwick in contrast to other airlines in London Heathrow.

You will have to make a stop at Dubai before proceeding to London.

Rough value on cost of living in Bristol:

1. Accommodation: Normally around £300-400 per month, depends on location. Mostly in the city centre will cost more. There are cheaper rent <£300, but a bit further from the centre/main uni buildings.

2. Food: Learn how to cook, so you won't depend on fast foods or need to eat at the restaurant everyday. Also depends on how much you normally eat. Usually £50 to £60 is more than enough.

3. Utilities (electric, water, gas, etc): Depends on usage, normally a bit expensive during cold months tongue.gif My experience, less than £20 per month for electric and gas alone. It is wiser to get a house with these all covered in the rent.

4. Mobile phones: £25 per month should do.

So in general, I'd say you'll need around £500-£600 per month, all covered.
