laughingman, have you check with your stepdown? If not try swap with other stepdown and see. Just try no harm.....

tapi i boleh on xbox one, ada green screen xbox one logo.
after green screen then black screen cannot go to dashboard..

your Xbox console on off sensor got white light tak when black screen.. if yes then maybe your console got problem maybe HDMI slot got problem or other component has problem, but if no try check you power brick light got solid white light x if yes your step down not enough power to supply to Xbox one..it happen to me last 2 week play for 10 minute my Xbox shut down secara tiba2 but white light at power brick is solid..then i notice smoke coming out from my step down. i not a expert on this thing but just sharing my experience
