Hi all.. this morning my saga had a weird symptom, I drove my car to breakfast then when I lock the door the 'Dit Dit' sound more than two times, I think 3 time 'Dit Dit' sound if not mistaken. (supposed to have two time only right?) So after I had my breakfast I couldn't start my car for awhile. But after that ok already, does anyone what happen? I don't have much knowledge in car, and mine is new car too. icon_question.gif icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

Guys, is the open track day still on?
For the BLM, when you lock the door, supposed to be one time only. Unlock is two times. Not sure if FLX is the same.

Did you check if the doors were locked? After you came back, when you unlock, did it "dit" more than two times as well?

Oh yeah yeah, for locking the sound is one time only, my mistake. But it had two-three times when I lock. So after I came back I cannot start my engine. So I guess not the door problem.. hmm.gif I always make sure my door is properly closed before I leave wan...

Did you open your boot?

If one of the doors or boot is not closed properly, it will "dit" 5 times. This is the most common probable cause and solution.

As for engine difficult to start, did the engine crank and then fail to ignite?

As another forumer mentioned, it could be cabin lights left on or boot light left on and that sucked your battery a bit.

Otherwise, it could be engine flooded or spark plug got wet, which is very common cause for Saga engine difficult to start. Too much fuel got pumped into combustion chamber, causing this problem. Or something like that. Can't remember edi. Me and a lot of other members here all get this same difficult to start engine problem once in awhile. It cranks but won't ignite.

Thanks for the information, very useful. smile.gif Nope I did not open my boot/bonet. Just fetch my girl to breakfast only. Yeah, exactly the engine crank and then fail to ignite for few tried. But after 5 mins like that it was okay already. hmm.gif Do you think it's necessary to check up?
