consider nt8000 if you want to track occasionally as many people commented about it

CD2 track you will cry only (or... actually have damn lots of fun LOL!)
CD2 is more expensive than nt8000 though, and after tread left 20-30% it does aquaplane a lot if you exceed 100-120km/h in deep water puddles/emergency braking in wet conditions.
*
Apa tu CD2?? sounds like some spy cam porno stuff...like itu CSL.....CD1, CD2.....I just put order for 4 pcs Dunlop direzza DZ101 for my MPV....2nd set now....very happy with it and my 215/55/17 not much to choose around....

For my gaga, after Parada, will be upgrading to R1R or SX2...will be getting my new rims this month...

just to list a few from my own understanding:

pros
bite faster, NOT harder.
the applied pressure is still the same as that is determined by the master pump.

In the rubber water hose analogy, that would be the amount of water being supplied by the pipe - the amount of brake fluid being pushed by the master pump.

cons
your braking won't be very linear, it'll be very sharp. (expect a lot of nose diving/brake locking if your front suspension suck/no ABS)

also if you're pushing your brake temperature to it's limit and your fluid is expanding (do think about WHY standard brake hoses are manufactured as such aside of cost saving la) but have no where to expand, what happens? the pressure gets extremely high and even light push may result in a very hard brake - a steady threshold/trail brake into corner can result in the rear drums suddenly biting too hard causing a lock > spin out.

that's what i've learned during sepang after over 20-30 laps continuous laugh.gif
*
braking linear or not, depends on pressure applied....if driver get used to it then it's like normal only....can adapt one....

Normal use your brake temperature will have ample time to cool down la....the line itself also acts like a cooling fin that's why you see they use steel line to transfer the brake fluid....the only part is rubber is connecting from the caliper to the steel line. Reason using rubber is because cost and flexibility compare to SS braided hose, rubber is easier to bend and can have smaller bend radius than SS braided hose....brake fluid have very high boiling point....and I can verify this because i try cooking brake fluid in microwave for 1 hour.....nothing happen to the brake fluid......I've been using braided hose in all my other cars and my gaga....even I lap Sepang with my gaga I also don't feel the brake change much after 7 laps....it's still the same feeling....

30 laps continous apa race you do 30 laps non-stop.....

Hi Bros... notworthy.gif

Tks a meg 4yr views/comments!  thumbup.gif

2summarise...really short one...

1. Both CT & SS braided hoses do offer SHARPER/FASTER (?) braking...due2 more efficient transfer of pressure ie less loss of pressure than by more expandable stock ori rubber hoses.
2. Higher op temp cld b a Con...esp if used on track. SS braided one better cos of better dissipation of resultant heat fr heavy repeated use.
However, in Normal day2day driving, even CT braided one shld b no prob, rite? tongue.gif

So 4man-in-the-street use, CT braiding (RM6) wld b a very cheapo mod offering a more direct braking improvement to ori hose system...
As compared2 SS Braided ones (RM300-350?)...
True? icon_rolleyes.gif
*
I also did Cable Tie before switching to SS hose...FYI, you can get SS hose for MYR290 shipped....IMP brand....I;m using it on my gaga...bought from ZTH look for the guy name Andysky5, he's a part seller in ZTH marketplace..just mention my nick name TitanRev recommend one...

Dares, see MT List No.6 I think THe MT Suprima S would use this gearbox...Max Torque this MT gearbox can handle is 250Nm....so highly possible for the 1.6CFE...

Will change meh? Mine try at my FLX SE won't change wan....

As far as I know Campro normal idling vacuum should be around 17-22 inHg....YAB said anything above 26 means it's running too lean. My FLX SE idling vacuum was around 19inHg....Fiesta around 21-22 inHg.
