guys i have a question, few days ago i just bought a new ori xperia z 6603 set. i installed whatsapp and messenger on it only, i m still getting used to the handset, the others are stock setting.

i noticed that yesterday night i went to sleep with 100% charge on, and i woke up with 85% of battery, is this considered normal for 4.2.2 android sony stock os? is a huge 15% battery for a 7 hours sleep time.

i have stamina mode on, location off, wifi off, auto sync off, lte off, nfc off, gps off, hotspot off, brightness off, bluetooth off, everything off, screen brightness to lowest, almost entirely everything off, have not downloaded any other apps.

really? =.=
last time i use iphone, go to sleep 100%, wake up 100%...
case different with android i see~

why to flash kernel?? btw i duno what is kernel and why u flash it? the phone will become faster?

can restore anytime. just remember to backup your TA partition before you unlock

FOUND A WAY TO ENABLE MULTI-USERS IN XPERIA 4.3

(NO NEED FOR JUST TABLET Z 4.3 )
(SURPRISINGLY it works really well, especially in Settings, a lot of things are restricted.. I guess Sony just left the code there but disabled this feature for our XZ )

REQUIREMENTS: Xposed app, root access, xperia 4.3

1. Backup these 2 files from /system/app/ ... (just in case unexpected things happened to your device)
- Initial-boot-setup.apk
- SEMCSetupWizard.apk

THEN delete them off.

2. Download the module from here:

Install, tick it, then reboot

3. Go to the module -> Google Nexus (ALL) -> tick the "Show users on power menu"
(Note: If you get stucked in the ad screen, simple fix is -> Press the recent button -> then press back the module in the recent screen)

4. Reboot

5. Then, navigate Settings -> Users -> Add a profile (User/Restricted).. your choice
After that when you select the restricted or new user profile, it will become the "use phone, or off phone" screen again. which is why we need to delete the 2 things in (1) so that it will skip these.

at least in terms of app access its bug-less .. even gallery and file manager cannot access.

only enabled dialer for emergencies.. thats it.
the rest nobody needs to see..

best part is you can even disable your album app..

cannot even access SD card or file manager cuz play store is blocked.

unless its more advanced users like using adb push lar haha..

the code is there all along.. sony just hides it for the xperia z

cuz the xposed just enable this feature for us, but the rest are in the framework

cuz when its in restricted profile, cannot even access stamina mode, location, play store, and also developer options.. even if i tap it 7 times, it wont appear and no toast..

i guess its a really good feature lah if we got nosy friends

mine is on restricted.

erm.. display is a bad for sony in previous.. but recent announced phone seems improved in this area.. although sony not really famous, but i still like it simple and friendly UI. i would like to buy 1 more smartphone for spare.. i prefer dual SIM.. waiting for better dual sim phone.. but aiming on Sony as well.. others brand not used to their UI.. recently T2 Ultra seems better than Xperia C.. will looks forward on it in future.. hopefully Sony Mobile MY brings dual sim version into msia..

Why until now still no one can do a simple one click root for 4.3! Haizz...
