Question to DiGi users out there: Our current data plan only supports 3G and not LTE until early next year as what the CS told me when I called in a while ago. According to the CS, the current LTE is only applicable to their broadband devices. Can any XperiaZ DiGi users confirm the above statement? Another question which I believe has been asked over and over again, but I really appreciate any sifu can assist here: How are we able to tweak the phone to install downloaded apps onto the SD Card without rooting the device? QUOTE(emkay @ Dec 18 2013, 09:19 AM) Yesterday, I uninstalled all those google apps especially google play services. Those that can't be uninstalled, I uninstalled the update and disable it. After fully charged, estimated standby time more than 5 days. Previously, the estimated standby time only about 1 1/2 day. Wouldn't that affect the performance and keeping all apps at their peak with the latest updates?

Guys, I'm sorry that I am asking this, but I can't seem to find any reference from the start page towards my queries.
How do I check if my Xperia Z is a Malaysian set?

I wanna share my "journey" on updating the JB 4.3 firmware. I connected my laptop via my XZ's hotspot, searched and found update available, hence clicked on update. Though the file was close to 900MB, it took me merely 15 mins to download the software and another 15 mins to update. All in was approximately 30 mins or so. I'm on the DiGi 148 Smart Plan, only 3G connectivity as LTE is only available somewhere nx year. I'm quite happy with the overall experience and performance after the update, although I would appreciate if there is a way to free up more RAM on the stock JB 4.3.

Just got a message saying that Wise Pilot Trial is expired. Isn't this suppose to be complementary for Genuine Sony users?

QUOTE(delang @ Jan 16 2014, 03:29 PM) I was at e@Curve's Sony outlet asking for the charging dock as well. XZ ori dock cost RM118.00 nett. Not sure where did you get yours at. The only thing is that they don't have existing stock, need to place order and wait for 2 to 4 working days for the dock to be delivered. 1 year warranty from Sony Malaysia.
