GPS may work slow if u:

1. no data
2. turned off always, turn on only when need use
3. change of the places with far distance when last use
4. can try purge data (go service menu>service test>GPS>purge ass. data


p/s: turned on gps always doesn't consume ur battery, unless got apps using gps to locate location.. so u dont worry, can just turn on it always.. mostly fb, messenger, browser will use the GPS.. otherwise, google map/gps software..

to make sure whether ur gps is working or not, connect to wifi, open google map, locating urself.. see whether correct or not.. if can work within 10sec mean ur phone is well..

dunno for the first question.. need refer to service centre..

2. night scene is only for night scene.. it auto set low ISO, longer shutter speed and spot metering.. where u must have steady hand or put on tripod or use something to steady ur phone to capture the photo.. NIGHT SCENE here is not mean use on low light..

in low light is depend on you.. higher ISO or normal mode will do..

software problem normally takes 2-3 days working days.. if hardware then probably 2~3 weeks ady.. mine ZL have problem recently and sent into service day.. until now got 10days ady.

u dunno the things.. Bravia engine is just a software to improve the contrast and saturation.. not to increase viewing angles..

how do u want to judge a phone camera quality?? which 8mp better??

ZL?? i had this problem before my phone was dead.. probably 4.3 OS got SOD problem.. my phone shut down automatically as well.. battery still got 80%.. only can start with charger like urs.. i sent to warranty and they claim main board and battery problem..

replacement for the board and battery in my case is around 2~3weeks by SEMS service centre.. LOL.. ady 16 days until today.. tmr i will call again to follow up and see.. if cannot repair, i request to get new set or upgrade other phone as alternative..

I've been running leaked 4.3 for 2 weeks ady on my ZL.
no SOD until now. everyday played RealRacing3 and RealSteel to levelling up. laugh.gif
the highest temp i have ever gone was 63 C so far.
and I've lot of xposed customization too. been running fine and fun tho. thumbup.gif

I checked on website and many forum.. most probably is hardware failure in ZL.. most of the ppl face the same problem as well.. but not because of 4.3.. is about battery problem..


i sent my phone for warranty ady.. waiting it back before CNY..

do u change the board of ZL?? my handset still in service centre.. already 2 weeks.. fxck.. today scold them.. today they told me battery replacement arrive but board still haven't.. so my phone under pending.. need to wait again.. so angry..

high speed can go up to 10 frame per second.. mean 10 shot.. but useful in daylight only.. standard is around 2~3 shot per second.. burst mode recommend on daylight only..

SOD - sudden of death.. I get this problem after update to journalist 4.3 OS.. phone will get hot easily unknownly.. previous in 4.2.2 i got always take photo for few hours, gaming and normal use only.. after updated, got play and try to know all feature in 4.3 only. after 1 or 2 days, then phone death.. only able to turn on with charger on.. when phone on, battery level at 80~100%.. unplugged, can last for few minutes.. battery didnt drop, but phone auto shutdown again..

sent to service centre.. they said is battery and board problem.. waiting for replacement board and battery.. last update: battery arrived but still waiting board.. 2weeks+ ady..

I complaints to Sony Mobile MY for their slow service in SEMS due to spare parts keep delay.. finally get the reply from them my phone will get done on next Thursday or Friday..

they checked via ur purchase receipt date.. starting from purchased date 1 year.. no online checking d..

some people didnt write the date on warranty card, some yes.. but if the end, they request to see receipts of purchase d..
