U r so lucky cos tradewinds is d nearest residential hall to most of the lecture halls, library, n colleges. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the library. The best thing is u can save a lot on the bus fares. U can also go to Proton, the food there is d cheapest in Laluan A.
In d 1st yr, there would be 3/4 persons per room. Once u r in ur 2nd yr, maybe u'll get 2 persons per room. Tradewinds is considered a small residential hall so u wun feel congested.
U also need to be a little bit active in tradewinds. Cos each activity organized by the residential hall that u join will give u some merit marks. U need to meet d minimum requirement of the merit point in order to stay at tradewinds in the next sem.
There's wireless coverage at d cafe. U can also go to Proton Gallery to go on9.

any friends here going to international business management ? can any1 tell me the buses going back from kedah to kl will stop where? pudu ? how long does it take ?
For Mara, it will stop at Putra Station b4 proceed to Pudu Station. For Tansnasional, it will stop at station at Jln Duta b4 proceed to Pudu Station. Make sure u dun leave d bus at d wrong station. One more thing, during Hari Raya, most buses will not enter Pudu Station as it will be very congested. Pls make it clear when u r buying the tickets. The journey will take about 5 to 6 hrs fr Alor Setar to KL. But fr the toll station in KL to Pudu Station, it will take another 1 hr due to traffic jam. Most ppl will take night bus.
I recommend Mara! Kudos for them as the bus is nice, more spacious, clean d the driver will usually drives slowly (but safely).
