well I'm not girl but I do kinda know how it is there..

basically, at Muamalat, you'll be sharing your room with 3 other ppl.. it means that one room got 4 ppl..

there will be two double decker bed..

for those 2 person per room, you gotta be really active in the college...

dun even think about it if you're a first year..

i just graduated.. have a happy 3 years.. lol..

and the room is easily opened... a card is more than enough..

Laluan A: Noramlly people will eat at Proton for Dinner cause more variety but pls note that food finsih normally round 6-6.30, But ther's masakan panas

Laluan C: Cheapest food in whole of Uni cafe. A lot of Variety in Muamalat and YAB

i'll be stayin in proton. so wanna know info bout dis residential. (izit 2/4 per room)
what bout the kk thing? izit compulsory??
and bout the dressing code. izit ok to wear a collared jacket over a blouse for gals?

hahahha.. nxt saturday i will go down alor star stay 1 night 1st.. then 29th morning i will go TM there register.. hahahhaha.. anyone know wat time the orientation starT? 5.30pm 29th?

yea you're lucky u found this, i couldnt find any help during my first sem and only knew a handful of ppl back then =(
as far as i know, proton is 2ppl/room.

regarding the kk, it is compulsory to complete 4 semesters of it, unless u can transfer credit from your secondary school (eg. u were a state player for badminton, so u join sports science and are required to just complete 3 semesters.)
attire for kk is black track pants and white collared tee, long sleeve for girls. (during 1st sem i kuai kuai wore black track pants, but i hate it cos its ugly and hot, so now i dun give a damn, im wearing dark blue cotton pants, . It really depends on your lecturer.. )
penang ppl can get it from Kim No Wak (dunno how u spell it but u know la, the sch uniform shop near komtar )

if your jacket is more formal, not the sporty kind, yeps it's okie.

anyways.. yea it was pretty jammed when i reached, but it wasnt that bad la, can still move abit, so if you REALLY REALLY wanna avoid the crowd, then go earlier lo.. reach around 7am still ok kuaa....

I have no idea that there's a thread on UUM

I have graduated from UUM few years back.

Stayed in Guthrie for 1 1/2 years before moving to Aseania (wonder what if they have changed the names) for the remaining 1 1/2 years.

All the best to all, especially to freshies.

UUM is a great place for study (if you are into study)
