OK, I'm in cafeteria right now. Let's see in the future if students really do this. But really, is the UK have the time to do this - watching students everytime, everywhere? That 'wear-matric-card-with-lanyard' thingy is nonsense. As long as students bring the matric card it is OK liao. Is it official yet?

Reminds me of the story from a blogger who used to study at UiTM - he kena saman while drying his clothes at the hostel because not wearing proper attire. Is it just me or every uni in Malaysia kinda having their own stupid rule?

Official once we get the lanyard (which is not yet), I heard. At first I thought it's just Kachi, but seems like the whole DPPs will be implementing this stupid rule. Let me see my block's RA doing it first. cool2.gif

M'sia is 'plagued' with too many oldies at the top hierarchy, they don't know what we need, what we feel.

My DPP still doesn't got the wireless yet. If want to go online, we will go to the cafeteria. When asking the new Principal during DPP Roadshow 3 days before, he said that Pusat Komputer still have something yet to do here. Lucky that cafeteria is quite near to my block though.

I'm not the one who ask lol. We boys sit outside lor, the DPP hall kenot occupy all the students there. And we will swap block next semester, which the Principal said there are cases that female students bring boys into their block brows.gif so this block-swap means the admin can control them laugh.gif. Still, the boys' block is only 1 here compared with 3 for girls.

But still I expecting myself changing DPP next sem.

Who want to go Kachi? tongue.gif (although the room in Bank Rakyat quite spacious IMO). But still there's a possibility to move there, or even 'float'/rent home outside campus. Uni management today is very unexpected, all of a sudden you have to obey new 'rules' lol.

The library line is quite slow compare to two semesters back. Wanna check another good spot since having many free time. Both Wed & Thu classes cancelled, so officially my holiday started today.

Have got my lanyard! rolleyes.gif

Btw just recently got wireless direct into room. Although having some difficulties bypassing the logon screen sometimes, the speed is quite OK actually. 1st time DL MP3...

Right now DL much bigger file, and the speed got into usual (30-40 KB/sec). Pretty decent tho, but there are other lines to be tested.

@nazq

Waffak with that speed.
I can hardly download any stuff these days, even after they installed "TM-hotzone" wifi connection recently. It always disconnected. In the end, haven't dl anything since mid-sem break ended.

Lanyard not enough stock lol, so I'll probably only get mine on/after Wednesday.

I'm also kinda shocked after getting that speed. And if you're DLing YouTube vids, it is far faster - recently DLed 2 vids, 1MB/sec. I guess the speed differs from which host website, in that case YouTube is the best I think.

But I think the speed will deteriorate later nod.gif

The bad news is, this will be like home all over again - staying up at night to online and what stuff, later class very sleepy liao doh.gif

It's hard to connect to the net nowadays unless it's after 11pm. Gets me frustrated.

Finished voting. We were told to vote at 8-9am today, but in the end, they only opened the lab at 9am. doh.gif

btw, any of you know what's the benefits of being an RA or Ketua blok? Other than not getting kicked out of the dorm? Just curious.
