If 8 subjects, must overall not be more than 24 credit hours. If more 24, cannot apply at all.

Applications to register for more than 22 credit hours (subject to availability) can be done by filling the application form provided by Academic Affairs Department (JHEA) and HEA website beginning 9 Sept 2012 (Sunday). The form must be submitted to JHEA by 13 Sept 2012 (Thursday).

I'm nervous about internships, since I suck at finding companies and interviews.

The news only about subjects that won't be offered I think, in addition rumors about lecturer from Logistics & Transportation changed to other departments (haish).

Might also add that proposed new course syllabus could also lead to this - although I don't know whether the new syllabus will be implemented in this upcoming semester.

Internship thingy, I should do it since I have only 3 days left here before going back to UUM - too expensive to travel back and forth just for that. Might just left it with CUIC or go searching for one in KL area during mid-sem break, but have to think about subjects and potentially mixed-up schedule first...however feeling badly demotivated right now. Damn it.

Been thinking about staying at Kedah for my intership lol.

Actually for internship what should we do? Search randomly for companies, then ask letter from uni, then send resume together with the letter or what?

Uni won't issue any letter, we have to construct our own. Resume also have to be sent.

That's what friends (who are currently on their internship) told me. Before semester break I went to CUIC to ask for confirmation about that but they can't help since they are busy with the current internship students on that time.

Have you add CUIC UUM in FB yet?

Actually should have an official letter from uni saying that we are student from this uni, and undergoing to do practicum blabla. This letter is what i'm wondering about.

For resume and cover letter of course we will do on our own, I finished writing mine already.

According to that CUIC releases, I think that only after they approved the submitted Nomination Form then they will release the official letter to be sent to the company. That Nomination Form have to be filled if you already have a company that agreed to take you for internship.

Not too clear back then about the procedure if just decide to leave it to CUIC. Forgotten edy

So it means that we have to go to company first whether they accept us or not?? Means kena interview first? Only then we go back uum say this company accept me? Only 1 company only they'll give letter? So resume send when??

Should be asking the company first whether they will accept internship students. Interview, resumes and letters I think it depends on the companies' procedure.

Then later isi that Nomination borang to inform CUIC that you already got your preferred company, then wait for confirmation slip (this should be handled by CUIC if I'm not mistaken).

OK now I also confused The taklimat notes I left it at UUM, great

That's why you (and myself) should do it earlier....got more time to do that. Now I think too late edy, have to rely to CUIC - might well try again though. The borang nomination thingy only can be filled if the company already accepted us.

EDIT:- Ah shit, fell victim too. The subject that previously clashed before, found it not offered this semester. Busy first week ahead dammit.

I think UUM's system is stupid. Why not just release supporting letter first.
