there is no such model also bro. g46vw yes. not g45vw :/ whatever it is, i hope buyers can at least think of business sustainability of sellers for a while.

with a 6k budget, i guess he can build a decent desktop by himself, then upgrade when he has some spares.

thx for correcting.

Apparently its not good enough to handle the 36.3MP RAW files from the Nikon D800 monster laugh.gif Lagging here and there haha~

I think you might have to forego the Illegear or Surface in order to fund your ulti rig laugh.gif
As you grow older, there'll be more commitments in life haha, so aim or this while you're still young mate thumbup.gif
U can do it~

and thx for the support. notworthy.gif

i was thinking to build desktop rigs as a hobby when i am old and retired. (however by that time i am not so sure if there are still desktop parts available to do that)

Doubt so, but as we grow up. We'll just most likely unable to keep up with the gamer life and eventually opt for integrated graphic laptops for longer battery life and compact to carry along. Just like macbook.

Still there are slim ultrabook with powerhouse graphic card. No sign of Alienware intending doing that though Razer Blade seems to push the market to get rid of OOD and provide slim and sleek looking power gaming laptop. Followed by Gigabyte P34G and Soon Lenovo Y40/50.

Most important question, budget?

It's not about the screen size. The most important thing is the GPU. If u have a big screen with big resolution but ur GPU cannot handle it, it will be a waste also wut.

Yalo, why doesn't AW introduce an ultrabook? laugh.gif
I'm definitely going to buy one regardless of the heat! haha, bling bling on an ultrabook is awesome laugh.gif
No one seems to care about the heat anyways as with the MSI GE40, GS17 etc.

corrected the MSI GS70. smile.gif
my concern is if Alienware introduces ultrabook size, will it use MXM form? because i concern about upgradedibilities.

want a futureproof laptop with no regrets? get Alienware 17, graphics card is upgradeable and excellent cooling system. but one thing you might need to bear is the weight.

older generations of stuff usually lasts longer. (very hard to die haha!) to me, i get stuff for self satisfaction, for self rewarding.

i hope alienware is otherwise. they can create new slim models; but i hope they keep the bulky design for 17; maintainability and upgradeablity are important for long term use, so is the proper cooling for important components like cpu/gpu.

between the two, i will always choose alienware. if you're looking for 3 years or more of usage, like raymondtong94 said, get 17.
