Hi guys,

I just enrolled myself for Art and Design.I wonder, is there a good notebook that I can buy for Art and Design works??

Relly need ur advices.

what do you plan to MAJOR in..? smile.gif

and what's the BUDGET you're looking at as well..

Really, you want a laptop? biggrin.gif
A&D students need desktops that are BOTH sexy and productive.
Go get a PowerMac G5. And if you really want a notebook, the new Macbook/Pros are also up to the task.

Edit: If you're going on Web design/ non-digital art, something ~RM3000 would be good enough.

Do you guys think the Mackbook suit for graphic design, like adobe photoshop, any some modeling work, 3D studio max? any suggestion?

graphic design work yes... coz text are rendered very sharp.. especially print work like Quark..

modelling.. I'd rather have an AMD machine do it for me.

No.
Integrated graphics+ minimal RAM= 3D Disaster.
Get a Macbook Pro, or PowerMac on ebay if you want advanced stuff.
(p/s: Maya works on OSX)

last time i got one fren use acer ferrari to do 3d modeling with light wave, no lag thumbup.gif
