Planning to upgrade my MOBO to go for DDR3 and PCI-E 3.0
Budget: 180-300

Specs:
CPU: Core 2 Duo E7400 @ 2.8Ghz
RAM: 3GB DDR2
HDD: 320GB SATA
MOBO: Acer FMCP7AM (stock mobo)
GPU: Gigabyte GTX650 OC 1GB
PSU: 750W
+1 optical drive (Super Multi)

I want to keep the CPU(throw away the RAM of coz)....but I don't know which Motherboard will support it...
Recommend plz!!! =D

your CPU needs LgA775 mobo.. can check out Gigabyte, Asrock or msi mobo. One of those you can use is

not sure about the price though.

DDR3 yes.. but none of the LGA775 mobos supports PCIE 3.0 its Only Available from Z68/Z77 chipset onwards and also onlo if you couple it with Ivy Bridge CPUs

also upgrading the mobo will not yield you any performance gains, so if you want USB3.0, you can opt for an extension card off of the existing mobo pci lanes (if any) but other than that... you will need more budget to get a good upgrade
