Just the tip of the iceberg... there's more in Facebook, eBay and Bricklink!
Evolution of a LEGO noob to afol to taikun:
1) Get poisoned here
2) Start buying from retail
3) Get wiser and buy online
4) Begin to buy in bulk and resell to support hobby
5) Buy bigger car to haul more Lego
6) Buy bigger house to store Lego collection
7) Look for more expensive hobbies like Hot Toys etc.

Sound familiar to you all? laugh.gif rclxms.gif

Haha..I just started to collect Lego, slowly built up my collection, I am no taikun  tongue.gif

This is my second set, my first one is the Dynamic Duo. After this maybe will get the Temple of Light, Samurai Mech, Haunted House.

Mindstorm will come on Jan during my birthday and Unimog will come in June after finishing my payment term  biggrin.gif

Aha... so you're that guy who contacted me in FB, ahem ahem! brows.gif

Welcome to a pleasurable journey into Lego taikun-dom! You'll get there sooner or later. No turning back, and you will not have any regrets biggrin.gif

With the exception of Mindstorm, all the sets you mentioned are either discontinued or heading for retirement. I suggest you plan your purchases carefully in order not to missed them and have to pay sky high prices for them later...

I love the Unimog! wub.gif Go check out the actual build at BV2 if you have not already done so! nod.gif

Is it ALJ's ploy to encourage us to buy now because have less time now? Well, if it is then it is lame and not gonna work. lol!

Hey, all. Long-time lurker here.
My only "new" Lego sets are the SHELL Ferrari cars.

Anyway - What does ALJ losing the distributorship license mean?
Cheaper Lego and more Sales in Malaysia stores? Any source(s) or just rumours at the moment?

Hello. smile.gif Glad you decided to come out from hiding. rclxms.gif tongue.gif

Confirmed ALJ will no longer be the sole distributor come 1st January.

What happens after that I guess some peeps already know since 1st January is not too far away. I don't know any facts of what's coming next, just rumours... So I can only speculate and hope it means something good for us AFOLs... icon_rolleyes.gif

more sales only happen when they loose distributorship. after this i think only happen once a year at BV II only, speculation only.
