just giving a suggestion, why dont you charge an entrance fee for your next tournament. lets's say 10k per person. first place gets 40k, second 20k, and third 10k. But good job in organizing tournaments such as this. Would like to join the next one

yeah definitely pay first. for ex 8 players enter. 10k each = 80k.
(after tax) 80k-5%=76k
first place gets 30k
second gets 20k
third gets 15k
that would equal up to 65k
then the organizer will get the rest for organizing.

and since you have been organizing tournaments on LYN, I'm sure people would not really question your credibility

I understand and truly respect your beliefs and there is no intention of such gambling involved. But here's my thought, take a futsal competition as an example. the organizers will collect entrance fee of RM200 a team and the grand prize of winning the tournament is RM 1000, do you consider that as gambling? It's pretty much the same here, you cant really consider this as gambling as the organizers need funds themselves to provide incentives to players to perform their best(Unless the organizers can find sponsors)
If you wanna consider it as gambling, for example the organizer organizes a competition and charge an entrance fee of 10k coins per person and the grand prize is 100k. The winner is picked by LUCKY DRAW or you can call it a LOTTERY. That, I consider is gambling. I, myself is against it too. This is just my thought, no offence taken
