I am new photography. Just want some ideas on which lens is better. Canon 18-135mm or 28-105mm?

what body are you using?

if using FF body (6D, 5D, 1D), then only the 28-105 will fit.

if using APS-C body (1000/1100D, 350d-700d, 10d-70d), then the 18-135 is a better lens without doubt.

Neither is good.
If money not an issue maybe EF-s 15-85.

actually the 18-135 is a good lens, they now have the STM version too that's very silent in focusing.

 

Change to:
