hey guys.... i may have to replace my G15V1 keyboard which i LOVE VERY MUCH! unfortunately it started going kuku on me...

so im considering mechanical keyboards... usage is mostly for work and typing out syntaxes... but gaming is also a priority... mostly FPS... but the current keyboard i using temporarily pretty sux even for FPS with some keys not being registered after pressing a combo.

so whats a good and cheap mechanical keyboard that can replace my G15V1?

my main priority
- dedicated volume up and down button and dedicated mute button
- palm rest
- tilt height?

any suggestions? so far ive seen not many have them

pls recommend the cheapest option available as i also need to budget for a G13. i also might have to buy 2 sets of keyboard+G13

but feel free to recommend the higher range and expensive ones as well...just in case i have the budget

thanks for the recommendation... but where to buy? also... doesnt seem to have media buttons? wat about palm rest?


budget... dont know.. as i dont really know the price range of mkb and the diff between the switches etc.
so far the G710+ looks to be awesome... although the G keys are a welcome addition.. not really something i want as ill be buying the G13 as well....
ive always hated those "integrated" keys where u have to press those FN keys... absolutely hate them hahahahha
palmrest buy separately? dafuq? those that need to buy separately definitely out of the question... this basic item should have been included in the box and having to buy them separately is just....a bad bad bad bad thing in my book. heh

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH..... well i actually am a logitech fanboy....when it comes to keyboards n mouse.

im EXTREMELY picky when it comes to my keyboards... coz i type alot for work....from tactile feel, to key layout (type of enter key and long backspace key etc) and even tilt height is a concern for me... and logitech seems to be satisfying my needs extremely well over the years... i even still own an old white logitech PS2 keyboard...n that keyboard is still functioning and is over 13yo hahahha

i also have 2 units of the dell multimedia keyboard which is OEM by logitech.. owned them for 4 years now and they have never even been used.. only 1 has been removed from the packaging for pictures... bought them coz theyre awesome to use... and hard to find heh.

as for mouse... the best bang for buck mouse ever... MX518 i also still own 2 units MX500.



anyway... K70, G710+ both seem awesome but are a lil expensive and will take awhile for me to get them.... as mentioned before.. i also need to get the G13 to replace the macros on my G15V1. and im gonna need to get both keyboard+g13 at the same time.

the ducky dk2108 however, at RM250 looks like a good deal... just need to find out how much that damn palm rest costs and see how much it totals up. anyone has any idea of the pricing?

wait a minute... the ducky palm rest is not the clip on type? not the type thats clipped/hooked onto the keyboard itself? its separate from the keyboard itself?

gonna be a bit hard to order from that site... as i dont read chinese... hell..i aint even chinese! hahahhaha

if separated.... then not leaning already... jumping sudaaaaaaahhh hahahahhaha

but actually more towards the K70 mainly coz it doesnt have the macro keys.

trying to avoid having macro keys on the keyboard now as i dont wanna end up relying on them
