Since it is a Costar stabiliser board, try reseat the spacebar, if didn't help, lube it.

If still didn't help, do a overhaul and replace the whole stabiliser with a proper Costar made one.

In dota2 u will appreciate the tab key very much especially when playing lone druid, which helps to control both bear efficiently  . And alt key is a must for me since i already adopt to it since dota1 era 

I play Dota and Dota 2. Set auto health bar and adapt it so you won't be alt+tab. Never have any issue even though I'm not a pro and I seldom play. Plus, I only play Lone Druid. Haha... Not really interested with hero that require fast hand.

Infact, for PCB mounted boards. Ppl rarely desolder the switches to mod it, simply remove the top case, take out old stem/spring, plug in new stem/spring and reinstall the top case.

You keep the base of switches till it is broken or having multi registering issues.
