I'm wondering for so long why my lapsap ASUS laptop keyboard can support 8 keys rollover by default.  sweat.gif
But my mechanical keyboard support 6keys. Sometime I really think NKRO not really a feature.
Anyway, 6keys default is enough for me. There is a dip to switch from 6keys to Nkeys.
Maybe there is limitation after switch to Nkeys like your delay etc.  smile.gif

Laptop's keyboard isn't using USB interface, hence no the default 6keys limitation.

Btw, I doubt your keyboard is really 8kro. I think it is 2kro but passing certain 8keys combination.

im in doubt either. even if they are able to put a 6 KRO onto a laptop, maybe the PCB board will be very thick. hence, the laptop's thin profile cannot be kept.

Do Filco Majestouch 2 have features? No dip key behind d keyboard, no NKRO only 6kro.
I can only feel the great typing feeling is the main feature. biggrin.gif

no features nor flashy shits.
just a plain, firm and reliable piece of normal keyboard.
the brand scream itself.
it doesn't need flashy things to show off laugh.gif

True enough.
Since I disabled the LED light of the caps and scroll lock & remapped entirely the keyboard keys to the layout I prefer.
The media keys on mechanical keyboards always useless to me.
Just the great typing experience, that's why I enjoy using mechanical keyboard.

its a circuit board, brah.
i mean that since a mech kb has 6 KRO (as default), normally the board itself will be thicker than laptop keyboard's board. so if you are going to plant that thing into your laptop, are you able to close it perfectly?

Typing experience is the first thing to consider in mechanical keyboard.
That's why hardcore people always looking for the best for their fingers.

Usually starting from the switch.
Linear vs Tactile. Best linear would be vintage black and the tactile one should be mx clear.

Springs - stock springs not so nice - 55G/62G korean springs will be the best.

Lube - A must for the best feeling out of your fingers.

Stickers - Eye candies. Less wobbles, for people can feel it.

Plate - just metal/alu plate.

Casing - Metal casing is a must too (P/S I should recommend this first before anything)

Memory foam - Another little things, but giving great effect. It dampens the sound a lot. Quite noticeable. But you can't use too thick as you will feel like typing a keyboard on sofa.

Of course dont fit if using pcb on laptop.
But that not real reason.
Haha.. mkb , each switch as diode on pcb.
Indeed is thick since using pcb, more durable and long lasting. smile.gif

My ASUS laptop is thin keyboard, inside is using flex cables.
Laptop can use multilayered flex to support its individual key IC design.
But it is hassle and not cost effective. Once single key break, hard to fix.
Everything is possible.

You're the hardcore 1 rclxms.gif
Actually why MX Clear is the best for tactile? Do it feel like heavy MX brown instead of MX Blue?
For casing, why metal alloy is a must? because of the crispy sound produce? brows.gif
Currently, I still ok with the thermosets casing of Filco or ducky altho not elegant enough to fight metallic finishing casing.

it is the only switch that require most force when compared to the other switches but it doesnt give a loud click when registered. for typists, some may prefer Cherry MX Clear as the Cherry MX Blue sounds like a typewriter when pressed.

for casing, aluminium is always da best (best if brushed).

EDIT : metal alloy casings has better corrosion prevention. im sure you dont even want your keyboard to rust when it turns older, right? brows.gif

I see, sounds interesting. I will try MX Clear in the future. smile.gif
Plastics not best? laugh.gif
I think I will skip aluminium alloy as casing. Wallet empty, skip 1st.

MX Clear is made in a way that it is more bump.
If you google image mx clear and brown.

I say metal is a must isn't that crispy is priority.
But it feels much better. hmm.gif It just feels solid.

Just wait for your LZ-FE.
You will disappoint when you compare LZ-S with it tongue.gif.
LZ-S is just a top case + stainless steel plate on bottom.
