RETAIL BOX AND PACKAGING

As usual, when you get a Razer product, the presentation is pretty cool. And they have more detailed information about the headset on the rear of the box.

Inside, we have a manual guide, audio cord, audio/mic cord, razer sticker and Razer Electra itself. They gave us a choice to use audio cord or audio with mic combined cord.
TESTING SESSION
Musics :
In my opinion, this is where Razer Electra really shine. As they said, they have enhance the bass response. I tested it with Avenged Sevenfold : Shepherd of Fire,Carry On and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus : Face Down. The bass response was really satisfying. It's not muddy or flat with metal and alternative rock song. Then, I test the treble with Clarity by Zedd. I was expecting a bad result considering the bass response. I was surprised how well it performs on this song. It doesn't have any distortion whatsoever. But the treble was a little bit bright.
Games :
For gaming, I tested it with COD:Black Ops 2,Dota 2, and Left 4 Dead 2. The Razer Electra performance was decent for gaming. Even though the bass was really awesome when listening to music, it doesn't give the same results as in gaming. I can't really determine the difference in the sound of explosions from different lethals. It all sounds pretty much the same for me. But after some equalizing, the sound get better by bit. However, after I added Razer Surround Sound Software, the performance was pretty good. The sound of gunshots can be heard clearly and loud. The explosions was not so loud until you can't figure out where the enemy is hiding. For me, The Razer Surround Sound Software performs well with Razer Electra. It gives the same results when I'm playing Left 4 Dead 2. It does give you surround sound effect, but you can't really pinpoint whether the zombies from front or back. (We only have 2 ears
Comfort :
In terms of comfort, Razer Electra was very comfy. The ear cushions was made from a very soft foam covered with leatherette materials. I have no problems for the first 30 minutes. Then, the headset starts to clamp a little bit but because of how soft the ear cushions was, it was not a trouble for me. But after 1-2 hours of gaming, your ears can get sweaty and hot because leatherette material doesn't give much breathability for your ears. I noticed that my left ear will touch the driver after using it for a while. I'm not sure why it only occurs on my left ear only, maybe my ears were different from the others. The headband was not very comfortable for me as it put pressure on my head
Mic test :
The mic performs well for inline microphone. My teammates can clearly hear me but still can hear the background noise. For an inline mic, it is pretty good for saving up space and not looking like a nerd when listening to music in subways.

CONCLUSION
Razer Electra performs really well on games and music. It was really comfortable to wear. The mic was really useful for picking up calls. But, if you want to use it for PC Gaming, you have to buy audio/mic splitter cable. It only has audio/mic combined jack. It's pretty disappointing that Razer didn't include these inside the packaging. And just to be clear, this headset does not have an inline volume control and mic mute. That means if you are using it with your smartphones, you can only adjust the volume from your phones only. It's very inconvenient for PC Gaming when you have to change the volume by going to desktop and change the speakers volume.
This Headset is available in market for RM209-RM219
Recommended for people who likes to listen to music while traveling
