Not all of Shell is out. Only their IT function.  Other business function remains. If not mistaken the ofice there got 5-6 functions housed there although IT is the bigger one.
Please put validated info here, words like these confuse and mislead people.

Most of the Shell's IT functions are outsourced to vendors. The vendors can be changed once contract expired. This is part of the life cycle ....
*
This time move to india = no of workers in shell hub @ cbj reduced

QUOTE(Babizz @ Mar 1 2015, 09:09 PM)

Can public just go into MMU food court and shell food court?
Expensive and many variety of food?
*
Mmu guards are quite ok. I noticed that each time i want to go in w my office tag on the neck they will let me pass easier...i will just show the signal "makan".
laugh.gif
Do take note mmu food court is not spoilt w variety of choices. You can either choose the one @hostel building (western food / lauk campur) or infront of mmu stadium (more choices..arab/chinese/local dishes)

As for shell, it is a separated building than shell but just next to it. This one is shell IT ya (near tsys / shaftbury side...not that big campus near to ibm / pelita mamak).behind futsal court or padang bola.
Last time i visit there parking are chargeable.

Price for both are quite ok, w mmu one slightly cheaper in my opinion.

Cyberjaya is indeed a calm city (i prefer to called it as suburban) with not much hassle here and there. Been living here for like 5 years now and currently planning to buy an apartment here.

But nowadays lots of residential apartments are under construction. Lots of construction lorries coming in and out, quite dusty but it only affect pockets of small areas.

Bro u think developers will continue more new launches this year or wait until market stable first?

I think is good news for the residents. Now cyberjaya will become more quiet and more pieceful, and more sound like a real residential area.

Imagine such a 1st class infrastructure to serve such a low density of resident.

But it will definately a bad news to investors
*
Cyberjaya is always a student area to begin with..2 major private uni were there ever since..+ 1 cucms

Btw any news abt segi college..macam sudah 2 tahun lor senyap

That madinah uni or something also senyap

Btw I just sent a complaint, lets see if they got take any action or not

Doubt mpsepang is doing a good job. The signage @ petronas almost tumbang like more than 1 week Sampah also..these kind of thing no need to complaint...it is VERY VISIBLE...ppl pay ur tax ..it should never be we ask for ur service..it should be we are ready to serve u..

Btw if u pernah kena saman, make sure u simpan d resit atleast for good 5 years..once i park outside ibm, during my study time..saman rm30, pay straight away..then 3-4 years later threat me want to see me in court coz havent paid yet. Really lousy system

Day population is seriously increasing..two islamic kids montessory, brainy bunch & little caliphs..side by side..if anyone noticed little caliphs expanding alrd..

night weekend dont think so, pelita tak ada orang..can enjoy watch football without rempit if u wanna take some tea break from ur office laugh.gif

And no, sunway boom not because of student la. Overspill of usj subang etc...of koz laa (average household income this area surely not 2k per family)

Education is quite resilient to economy, good or bad economy doesnt really affect education business. So its good for the city. More population and business.
Not only student will grow, many working population will stay in Cyberjaya too with many new residential unit flooding the market.  tongue.gif

i never said sunway boom due to student, i'm just referring to the spending power of rich students in that area that brought up the commercial and rental.

in fact i would rate cyberjaya more than just a students' city, and i'm not an investor there..
*
I always believe working ppl > student in terms of spending power.
Anyday.

This is just my pov yea.

Back to my initial point, this will make cyber more into students' city. Kind of defeat the "dream target" of many own stayers around cyber.

Own stayer will definitely spend more
own stayer doesnt come and go( well atleast up to few years)
own stayer will keep the place better

Not abt spending power alone

Fyi, I'm planning to move to Cyberjaya when my unit is ready.

I think there's clear differentiation for which developments will attract more students. Cyberia. Domain, Mutiara Ville (early Phase), The Arc, Main Place, etc.

For own stay, as long as students don't give trouble it should be fine. Anyway, those buying for own stay will normally go for higher end bigger build up condo or landed. For me it will not be an issue to stay in a city which has many students. Just for example since it was mentioned, SS15 residents still stay happily in their own house. Same here, Cyberjaya has so many development which is suitable for own stay. I'm more than happy if the population grows and the business here prosper so that as a resident there, I can have more options to shop & dine, all within Cyberjaya.
*
Agreed on the bolded part

As comparison with ss15 it depends on individual i guess.
im staying @ sec 7 shah alam, used to be a decent and calm area (bear in mind unisel and uitm already there long time ago)
but the number of students were not that big

And suddenly around 2007-10 uitm decided to push more students to their main campus (shah alam)..suddenly icity jakel naik. Yea property wise , it is a very good gain
pkns double storey used to be < 400k. Now some almost and maybe can reach 1m (same house)

laugh.gif

But environment wise..naaaah. too cramp for me.
(last time around 2013 i checked uitm alrd caters almost 50k students.)

Imagine. Huwaaa
