QUOTE(thecaterpillar @ Oct 13 2015, 10:20 AM) If you pass thru both tolls it will cost RM2 (increase RM0.50) & RM3.50 (increase RM1.00). That's quite a lot if 2 trips a day, RM11 just for toll. Some Klang folks I know stay in Klang and use Kesas + Mex to go to work in KL daily to avoid jam at Federal highway. That's RM2 x 3 tolls (Kesas) + RM1.50 (MEX - old price) one way so it's RM15.00 per day for a round trip. Given those circumstances, they'd probably be better off living in Cyberjaya

QUOTE(BEANCOUNTER @ Oct 13 2015, 03:33 PM) please dun use extreme example to draw a positive light to stay in ciber lah..... many strong supporters here for canal city you know.... It's not an extreme example, some of the people I'm talking about are my neighbors, I'm from Klang Edit: By the way, I myself have bought a property in Cyber, will evaluate if that's a better neighborhood to stay in compared to Klang when property is completed. QUOTE(BEANCOUNTER @ Oct 14 2015, 11:30 AM) are 9/10 people in klang work in KL or 1/10 people in klang work in KL? Am referring to those who has worked in kl for middle to long term, say like 5 years or more....not just those newly graduated and just took the 1st job on offer. of course compared to amenities, infrastructure, well planned housing estates and etc....cyber will excel when compared to klang. I took one of my overseas friends to visit klang and he was more than shock of the current uncared condition of klang. I would think about 4/10 people in Klang work in PJ/KL area, and most are not fresh grads. Mostly already working many years. Previous gen people don't mind traveling a little further to work, these days the new gen want convenience, must stay next door to their office. Ha ha ha... I used to take a bus from Klang to KL for work - Commute time average 2 hours one way.. Those were the days...

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Nov 2 2015, 01:59 PM) that's explain the so-called "delay". MCT waiting for their project to VP. I guess they also waiting for others project to VP. so I can say the school would only be ready around 2018 Your assumption would be right, was told that the school will only be ready end 2017, possibly for 2018 intake.

QUOTE(Cabinda @ Nov 5 2015, 01:35 AM) For leisure, yeah its a little too far... Famous and nice food are all too far away, all are above 30 mins away, even klang seafood r abt 90 mins away.. Could be a typo error, but take it from a Klang guy, Cyberjaya is not 90 minutes away from Klang... At highway speed limits, I'd be able to reach Port Dickson in 90 minutes.
