Cyberjaya  failed in that perspective  due to policy and reckless and poor execution.

One of the biggest pitfall is that the government keeps issuing MSC status to almost every single new class A building. They should have keep theses companies focus in these 3 originally designated area.

Just another case of great vision but stupid execution.

Exactly the reason why i never bought cyber properties. The unique selling point was no longer unique long time ago. Even bandar puteri puchong have 5 blocks of empty offices with MSC status. What make those cyber investors fantasize of major tech companies would flowing into cyber again really beyond me, cyber could do well just to delay the departure of existing companies.

I guess for RM1 increase to RM3.50 is still reasonable la , only 40%. Smart tunnel up 50%.

Cyberjaya residents who works in kl should be more worried on petrol price instead going forward , oil price has already bottomed and there is no more subsidy shield to prevent price from rocketing.

A lot of cbj fansi still dont get it when it comes to perception. Yes , if cbj indeed does turn up to be what was envisioned i.e. Silicon valley of malaysia, it will be fantastic place to live with the high pay jobs just right next to ur door step. But no, it has already been given up long time ago that dream. Now cbj is just another residential township located more than 40KM away from KL city centre ( thats even further than rawang - KL and yes , rawang has highway too if u may ask) , the so called high tech jobs turn out to be low value backend processing jobs and heck even that we cant compete with india. Shell are cutting 1300 of them and moving to india.

Nobody cares about putrajaya. Just like no one would chase after properties in canberra or washington d c. All they want is new york manhattan or melbourne suburb.

That's just marketing gimmick. What we are looking at is whether it's a nice place to stay... You are still stuck with the vision.

We look at it as a well planned city and very nice residential areas.

Isn't in my posting i clearly stated cbj JUST another residential area , nothing more.

I m comparing rawang and cyberjaya distance wise. So u think it is insult to compare rawang to cyberjaya , obviously u r the one looking down on rawang , not vice versa.

Klcc to cyberjaya not 40km la. 30km n time to spend all b much shorter than u think. To compare it like rawang. Omg. Haha. Pls try both routes first la. Ha. Aiyo so many haters n lovers of ciber here. Take easy. Let's talk rationally with facts.
*
Yes. I did try both routes. Both will get worse, rawang ( jalan batu arang side adding lot more townships ) & cbj ( ready for putra permai interchange nightmare )

Which residential area have so many MNC jut right next to it? Lol. Besides that I just want to say Rome is not built in one day. The journey of Cyerjaya just being revived recently for attracting companies. For residential also it was revived when other developers were invited to develop Cyberjaya few years ago.

Mind to share where is ur ideal and perfect place?
*
So u deem it as a work in progress or marketing gimmick for the MNC/IT hub etc etc. Now i m slightly confused.

If i work in KL, in current environment, within 20km travelling distance and mature neighbourhood would be alright.

MNC not totally failed.. Still there is MNC in cbj, this is fact.. Half pale MNC hub, can bo? If telling u like this more satisfying?

Mostly mature area r congested like sardine, coz buildings r growing like mushroom unable to control, so r very untidy, u send your kids to playground also need to keep an eye on your kids, bila bila hilang.. 20km sound near, but time taken to a destination may require same time u reach melaka..

Amenities like  bicycle lane, pedestrian, wide road, excellent public transport and punctuality, perfect connectivity, ur place have?
*
Why i want stay in place within 20km of KL and mature neighbourhood :

1. I want my house to have easy access to amenities with wide range of good options : Schools , hospitals , shops, restaurants, shopping malls , parks etc etc

2. I want to social with my families and my frds. Can anytime meet each others with ease and people dont afraid or lazy to come visit me because of distance.

3. I want to be near to the centre namely KL so when i climb thru the corporate ladder , I know the next better job is not far away from me.

4. I want my property to appreciate faster as population grows as properties nearer to centre of gravity alwiz appreciate faster based on history record.

5. I want the ease of travel to most part of klang valley because of different needs either by car or public transports . Not just one highway to KL city.

I can think of more reasons but that will do for the moment.
