Cyberjaya is death town. Sure for many people who come to view property during sunday. Restaurant close on sunday. People off on sunday. Can park the car in the mid of road for 5 min. Can i say is death town?

Why only Sunday? Go there everyday to see. Take into consideration that Cyberjaya resident population started to increase past 2 years and on the upward trend as more property VP.

On Sunday go to CBD/ Dpulze area and see if it's so quiet. Don't go to office area la.... U go to some office area like Jaya33, Damansara Heights, Phileo Damansara on Sunday and see if it's bustling... rclxub.gif

QUOTE(max_cavalera @ Nov 5 2015, 01:13 AM)
I wouldnt wanna buy at the fringes southern of klang valley early in my career life...if suddenly i change company and workplace relocate to more northern part of klang valley that already give me a lot of hassle to go work...

Thats why a lot of ppl still traditionally prefers to buy in a more central location within klang valley area like puchong, shah alam, subang jaya, pj, damansara...
If suddenly change company, then there will be a lot of SUDDENLY scenario and it will be never ending. Whoever bought in CBJ for their reasons, have reasons that differs from yours.

I give mine as an example. When I first started working in Puchong back in 2003, the commute was horrible coz I was staying in Taman Melawati, Ulu Klang. Eventually I bought a condo in Cheras in 2006, and almost halved my travelling distance and time. Almost.

When I bought into CBJ, I bought so that I could reduce my commuting time, not to mention the current environment of CBJ compared to the hustle and bustle of Puchong. Getting too lazy to wake so early for commuting these days. And by Puchong, I mean I work near Taman Puchong Utama/AEON Big which is on the fringe of Puchong. Thus I don't need to jam all the way to IOI area in the morning rush hour.

Next year or so, I might be posted to Gombak for a few years (few years can be never ending in my line sweat.gif ). And that's within the same company still. Even if I remained in Cheras, the morning commute to Gombak is also something I am not looking forward to. So, should I now look for a property in Gombak? Should I rent? Options options options.

I highly doubt if someone is staying in the areas you mentioned above, a PJ resident who currently works within 20km of his/her home, would choose to work in Kajang. If they do, it would be for a considerable higher pay hike. Or someone staying in Puchong, wanting to work in Gombak. Thus, central is rather subjective.

And considering that people don't change homes each and every time they change jobs, the likelihood is that they would change jobs to suit homes instead. At least that's my view when I look at my friends, colleagues and relatives. I'm speaking of the common man on the street.

My take, choose a job not because you stay nearby but a job that will enhance your career and the money is good. Location comes second as long as within the state.

I have never reject a job just because it is 50km away from home. A home should be where you feel blended in and a job, it is never a permanent location.

Cyberjaya have a lot of potential and I believe it will become a great place once the connectivity infra is up. The reason is because it started with a clean sheet of paper. Not some congested area and narrow road. Let's see another 10 years from now. Our opinions may change.

I'm the same - career comes first then place of stay (home) comes 2nd.
Good career = good money = better purchasing power > where to stay.
If someone offering you double / triple you current pay but relocate whole family to overseas, would you consider?

Yup, there's no mention of Putrajaya station. I've posted this question too previously.

http://www.spad.gov.my/projects/high-speed-rail

But MRT2 is directly connected to Bandar Malaysia.

MNC not totally failed.. Still there is MNC in cbj, this is fact.. Half pale MNC hub, can bo? If telling u like this more satisfying?

Mostly mature area r congested like sardine, coz buildings r growing like mushroom unable to control, so r very untidy, u send your kids to playground also need to keep an eye on your kids, bila bila hilang.. 20km sound near, but time taken to a destination may require same time u reach melaka..

Amenities like  bicycle lane, pedestrian, wide road, excellent public transport and punctuality, perfect connectivity, ur place have?
*
Why i want stay in place within 20km of KL and mature neighbourhood :

1. I want my house to have easy access to amenities with wide range of good options : Schools , hospitals , shops, restaurants, shopping malls , parks etc etc

2. I want to social with my families and my frds. Can anytime meet each others with ease and people dont afraid or lazy to come visit me because of distance.

3. I want to be near to the centre namely KL so when i climb thru the corporate ladder , I know the next better job is not far away from me.

4. I want my property to appreciate faster as population grows as properties nearer to centre of gravity alwiz appreciate faster based on history record.

5. I want the ease of travel to most part of klang valley because of different needs either by car or public transports . Not just one highway to KL city.

I can think of more reasons but that will do for the moment.

Recent news on HSR stations never mention Putrajaya anymore. I think they might have drop Putrajaya since it will delay the total travel time.

But I'm still hoping they have a stop in Putrajaya.
