We stay inside cyber and we always go Equine Park and Dengkil for Chinese food.....
Both areas are 10 mins drive away from Cyber - is that traveling time considered ok?

QUOTE(mingyew @ Oct 27 2015, 04:30 PM)
Dengkil is far away from cyber oredi. If count like this, sibehfar got equine park and puchong, all near near only.

Nearby shouldn't quantifying by time. Coz as time go on the traffic is getting worse and 10mins will not be lasting long.
I used to drive from my house to reached and parked my car in one U in 15mins. Now sometime an hour also Tak guarantee can get park my car in one u. But walking time still the same from last time till now.
It should cal base on distance with reachable by any transport including kaki.

So what's the conclusion of "nearby"?
Reachable via walking distance or driving distance of less than 10km n reachable within 10km?

10 min "drive" time or 10km just to get so called chinese food is definitely not near la no matter how one spin it. Try to at least halves it la maybe there will be someone start agreeing.

Bro, look like you need to widen ur area, not equine-cibet-dengkil only, there are many around, js see u clever enough to find or not nia... Or maybe you r telling your grandfather story again? When u work in cibet? Until now or 'n' yrs ago? And I think food in cibet r okay, not that expensive lar... Economy rice RM6, pork chop rice RM10 with soup, and drink... Mana ada mahal... Chicken rice RM6, still okay mah...

I used to stay in Ampang and went another end of Ampang for work(<=10km) and it took me 45 mins, with 7-8 traffic lights.

Now i'm still stay Ampang but going Cyberjaya work(around 40km) and it took me the same 45 mins. lol..... u can imagine how bad is KL traffic. The only bad thing is MEX tol increased to RM3.50 now. But my work area parking is free so take it as "give and take" lo. sleep.gif

1 week plus i will pump full tank petrol with around RM70+(8 years honda City), but my current job 1 week can work from home 1-2 times, plus those public holiday and those annual leave im taking no need to travel back office. So is quite difficult to count the petrol spent. But MEX highway are smooth and u dun need to accelerate too much power and go smooth with it, it won't consume too much petrol i guess, compare to the car jammed in KL heavy traffic.

There's a lot to offer too around Cyberjaya and Putrajaya. I think if you explore, there's quite a lot to do around here. For extreme sports there's a very nice Putrajaya Challenge Park and Skyride festivals.

Personally, I like to visit the parks with my family. Traffic also is silky smooth in Cyberjaya and Putrajaya during the weekends. biggrin.gif
Expats will appreciate it, while locals doesn't know these facilities exists. thumbup.gif
