Simple step to play BDO JP Server

Step to get the full game :
1. Download, install and run Softether VPN. to get JP IP address.
2. Open BDO JP website after you got hooked to a JP IP Address/gateway.
3. Create account by using OPEN ID (google,facebook,etc.)by clicking on the icon on top right.
4. Download and full patch.

Pre-requisite to start the game :
1. Install free version WTFAST software. (Optional to subscribe but worth it, I personally subscribe it).
2. Setup WTFast and link BDO executeable.
3. Download English patch Muxahack or search in reddit /r blackdesertonline

Step to start the game :
1. Connect to JPN Gateway by using Softether VPN.
2. Launch Wtfast and connect to East Asia JP Server 6.
3. Login to BDO JP website and launch game by clicking the big red square button.
4. ONCE IN CHANNEL SELECTION WHERE IT LISTED OUT VALENCIA, CHALPION AND NEW MEDIA, DISCONNECT YOUR VPN AND MAINTAIN THE WTFAST CONNECTION.
5. ????
6. Enjoy!

yea even if u go US server i dont think this kind of game you will be happy playing on high ping. Rubberbanding, slow hit register etc. good luck spamming pot on US Server.

No longer need to wait for translator to update patch when BDO update!!!!!

pretty sure the link i provide did mentioned the translation is taken from the EU alpha. EU alpha = NA alpha in theory although different server. Its just a 1:1 copy between EU and NA server thus the capability of them EU/NA players can swap between region on the fly.
Still, this translation is EU alpha + Muxahack

Anyway, the ping might (most probably) spike to unplayable state when there are too many objects (players and effect etc.) which renders unable to do kzarka and such.. why not just coming to BDO JP and see @MaxFireR grind like a zombie

Which also means you will have difficulty later when you going calpheon, guild boss raid, world boss etc.

The game already provide us with "not enough" pve content to start with. Take that out due to ping issue and we left with PVP...which obviously will not gonna be fun playing at 200-300ms..

Don't get me wrong, not that I hate NA/EU server but I see no point in forking out 30 dollar at minimum just to get into a game where I am limited to certain activities only.

Imp quest is totally incomparable to other world boss where over 50+ people will spam all their fancy skills at once.

As for WoW, imho BDO is quite ping dependant on both PVE and PVP part where itself is an action based mmo.

Thanks to the lower ping here in JP server, I could farm Sosan (lvl 53 mob) just by using +5 agerian full set.

Yes you can play without wtfast but you still need a vpn.im using xpressvpn which give me 80ms consistently.

What wtfast do is just reroute your connection to different node so some games will have very good improvement while some other game is not. Eg. Normal connection need 3 jump with each jump take 80ms that will be 240ms for u when you connect to game. When u use a vpn or wtfast, theoretically u will have more jumps in connection point. Let say it take 5 jumps to reach game server but each jump only take 20ms..that will be 100ms for you in game. This also explain why there are alot of server location for you to choose in a vpn software. So that you can choose the best route for lowest ping.

You can play in jpn server while waiting for na release. Its free anyway.i dont really recommend for us to play in na/eu server due to ping issue. You will cry when you reach valencia on above 150ms
