QUOTE(TheHitman47 @ Mar 13 2014, 03:44 AM) You can say so. Reference designs are usually cheaper and runs hotter, meaning higher temps and power draw. But it's generic design also allows you to put water blocks or thired party heatsinks by Gelid or Accelero.Non reference are more expensive. But runs cooler and is more efficient. The tweaks made by the third party manufacturers however mrams you cannot put other options like water blocks unless it specifically fits your model. But for you, just get a nice non reference model and you're good to go. |

QUOTE(TheHitman47 @ Mar 13 2014, 04:38 AM) but the one u share with me in the spoiler it stated that the non-ref are the cheaper one? Non reference is usually more expensive. Th spoiler was stating that some non reference cards use cheaper components to keep the price down. which one are more expensive?, non-ref or ref? offtopic, did u by any chance are watching UEFA? : But yeah, again, just use a nice non reference card and you'll be fine. And nope. Just couldn't sleep. |

Guys I'm thinking of doing a cheap small form factor build for my dad. Any suggestions for RM1.5K m-ATX build without the GPU? Just the PC itself.
