I don't use screen protector for my phat DS and now my screen is covered with a couple scratches and a big spot where the surface is cloudy (worn out) due to thumb strap usage (for MPH) . I can slightly see the worn surface when I playing even with the backlights on.and sorry for not spending extra money to protect myself from something so harmless.
