almost 3 years since my last update,

now - 4.5 years experience, electrical engineer, salary 4.1k.

The highest salary for person i have encounter before, which i really know them,


1) Shipyard - oil rig constuction, owner side's Inspector.

Because it is related to O&G, and the oil rig owner company obviously rich too, the inspector normally get handsome pay of USD 300 and above PER DAY. The inspector i known of is normally are under a 2-3 year Contract, untill the construction completed, they search for another job. Mind you, they are so rich, till they bao many awek around thai, viet and china.


2) Trader

He is incharge of ASEAN area, doing trade for petrol, diesel etc. Last time heard from his, monthly salary + commision more than 20k SGD.


3) Professional Engineer / Licensed Electrical Worker / Licensed Plumber

Construction field required endorsement from them. Just one stamp on your drawings few hundred dollar, image how many drawings and it depends to your construction scale. Easily one month more than tens of thousands. Or witness some testing or power turn-on, stand there few hours, easily earn few hundred to a thousand dollar.


4) Accountant

No need to say lah, every company need a registered Accountant. Dun get misleading by ACCA, a accountant degree is still a better choice. When you got enough experience and get the Accountant license, after you put signature on a paper for submission and auditing. You will know how much your signature cost. This friend of mine, just went to Singapore for a month, Singapore aldy offer him Singapore Permanent Resident.


Above 4 is the highest salary i have known.
