QUOTE(naav0340 @ Jan 18 2014, 03:51 PM) i'm in dilemma now. Already worked as software engineer for 2.5 yrs and promoted as senior, earning 3.4k / month. Not sure whether is underpaid, but that's fine with me. The problem now is that apparently i'm losing focus in my job now.. need to provide support for customer, distraction from junior asking for help, facing eager supervisor that always want his subordinate to get the job done fast (way too fast), project on hand..blah blah blah.. I'm actually enjoy working here, but with all these distractions, it turns out to be a burden to me. Is it normal that we need to deal with all these in workplace? I'm thinking of resign and get a new job, but that will be my last option if there are no other ways to get away from this situation. To all veteran out there, what should i do? I'm not a 'veteran' and I don't think I'm qualified to give you any opinions. But given how indispensable software engineers are these days, and with almost 3 years of your working experiences, I think you're considered underpaid. If I were you, I would seek employment elsewhere and I'll probably targeting well-established banks and IT based companies.

Good evening everybody. If any of you here applied or received an interview/employment offer from DF ELECTRONIC SDN BHD KAJANG, please reconsider and DO NOT accept any of those offers ! Their job advertisement is too good to be true, and the truth are these - no benefits, no salary increment, no vision/career advancement, very poor management, very poor working environment (crappy office environment with water leaks from roof and rats !), only RM40 for medical claim, and 10 working hours (8:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m) a day. These are the company's website - DF ELECTRONIC SDN BHD and GASS SECURITY SDN BHD.
